I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at EMLV - Léonard de Vinci Business School (De Vinci Higher Education) in Paris, France, and a researcher at the De Vinci Research Center. I hold a joint international Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Orléans (Laboratoire d'Économie d'Orléans - LEO) and the West University of Timi?oara. My doctoral research focused on the digitalisation of public services and corruption. Before joining EMLV in 2026, I was a Temporary Lecturer and Research Assistant (ATER) at the University of Orléans and a Teaching Assistant at ESCE International Business School in Paris. I was also a Visiting Researcher in the Department of Economics at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, USA, under the supervision of Prof. Scott Hegerty. My research lies at the intersection of public economics, energy and environmental economics, and international economics. I focus in particular on digitalisation, corruption and institutions, political economy, international trade, and energy and environmental issues. Using applied econometric methods, I study how technological, institutional and economic transformations shape economies and societies. My work has been published in journals including Energy Economics, the European Journal of Political Economy, International Economics, Empirica, the Journal of Forest Economics and the International Journal of Green Energy. My research has been supported by the Institute for Humane Studies at George Mason University through a 2026 Humane Studies Fellowship, and by the Public Choice Society, which awarded me conference scholarships in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
