abstract = {We have carried out a detailed analysis of the 3.4 ?m spectral feature arising from Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH),
using James Webb Space Telescope archival data. For the first time in an external galaxy (NGC 6240), we have identified two
distinct spectral components of the PAH 3.4 ?m feature: a shorter wavelength component at 3.395 ?m, which we attribute to
short aliphatic chains tightly attached to the aromatic rings of the PAH molecules; and a longer wavelength feature at 3.405 ?m
that arises from longer, more fragile, aliphatic chains that are weakly attached to the parent PAH molecule. These longer chains
are more easily destroyed by far-ultraviolet photons (>5 eV) and PAH thermal emission only occurs where PAH molecules
are shielded from more energetic photons by dense molecular gas. We see a very strong correlation in the morphology of the
PAH 3.395 ?m feature with the PAH 3.3 ?m emission, the latter arising from robust aromatic PAH molecules. We also see an
equally strong correlation between the PAH 3.405 ?m morphology and the warm molecular gas, as traced by H2 vibrational
lines. We show that the flux ratio PAH 3.395/PAH 3.405 < 0.3 corresponds strongly to regions where the PAH molecules are
shielded by dense molecular gas, so that only modestly energetic UV photons penetrate to excite the PAHs. Our work shows that
PAH 3.405 ?m and PAH 3.395 ?m emission features can provide robust diagnostics of the physical conditions of the interstellar
medium in external galaxies, and can be used to quantify the energies of the photon field penetrating molecular clouds.},

Drawing on HC theory and based on case studies of three companies in the Russian IT sector, the study analyzes how large-scale talent relocation, referred to as brain-drain, undermines firms' strategic investments in HC development. We find that in the face of sustained uncertainty, human resource (HR) managers adopt reactive approaches, leading to the widespread abandonment of professional development initiatives. We argue that this shift risks eroding orga- nizational capabilities and placing firms at a long-term competitive disadvantage. By moving beyond macro- economic discussions of sanctions and focusing on firm-level human resource management (HRM) responses, this study offers new theoretical insights into how geopolitical shocks reshape HRM practices and disrupt the un- derlying logic of HC investment in high-skill industries.},

We establish the local existence and uniqueness of solutions in the Sobolev space $H^m$, for $m geq 3$ . We notice that in the incompressible case, the best known existence result requires $m geq 5$, unless specific thermodynamic conditions are satisfied (their effect is to reduce the high nonlinearity of the model), in which case $m geq 3$ suffices.
Finally, we analyze the linearized system around the constant state and establish the global well-posedness of the solution, as well as its exponential decay in time toward the steady state. In addition, we prove the persistence of regularity for the solution.},

abstract = {Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) has become a powerful tool for addressing fixed cost allocation (FCA) problems. Among the numerous DEA-based FCA studies, a significant category seeks to make all Decision-making Units (DMUs) efficient under a set of common weights after cost allocation, falling under the common-weights FCA framework. However, the classical DEA efficiency evaluation mechanism does not require all DMUs to be evaluated based on a set of common weights. Instead, a DMU is considered efficient if it can choose its favorable weights to achieve an efficiency score of one while ensuring that the efficiencies of other DMUs do not exceed one. Motivated by this, we develop a novel and general efficient FCA framework that allocates the total fixed cost by allowing each DMU to select its preferred weights to be efficient. We prove that the FCA possible set under the traditional common-weights framework is a subset of that under this new framework. Then, an Assurance Region (AR) constraint on fixed costs is introduced to avoid extreme allocation schemes. Moreover, an individual dominance realization strategy and a FCA model based on it are proposed within this framework, aimed at minimizing each DMU's cross-efficiencies from the perspective of all other DMUs while ensuring its self-assessed efficiency remains at one. Additionally, an algorithm is introduced to guarantee the uniqueness of the FCA scheme. A numerical example and a case study from the Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation are used to validate the effectiveness of this approach and compare it with other classic methods.},

abstract = {Age estimation from facial images is a complex and multifaceted challenge in computer vision. In this study, we present a novel hybrid architecture that combines ConvNeXt, a state-of-the-art advancement of convolutional neural networks
(CNNs), with Vision Transformers (ViT). While each model independently delivers excellent performance on a variety of tasks, their integration leverages the complementary strengths of the CNNs' localized feature extraction capabilities and the Transformers' global attention mechanisms. Our proposed ConvNeXt-ViT hybrid solution was thoroughly evaluated on benchmark age estimation datasets, including MORPH II, CACD, and AFAD, and achieved superior performance in terms of mean absolute error (MAE). To address computational constraints, we leverage pre-trained models and systematically explore different configurations, using linear layers and advanced regularization techniques to optimize the architecture. Comprehensive ablation studies highlight the critical role of individual components and training strategies, and in particular emphasize the importance of adapted attention mechanisms within the CNN framework to improve the model's
focus on age-relevant facial features. The results show that the ConvNeXt-ViT hybrid not only outperforms traditional methods, but also provides a robust foundation for future advances in age estimation and related visual tasks. This work underscores the transformative potential of hybrid architectures and represents a promising direction for the seamless integration of CNNs and transformers to address complex computer vision challenges.},

In many applications, this class of fluid flows is challenging to numerically solve using the conventional monolithic methods. The proposed approach belongs to a family of viscosity-splitting methods and it separates the convection term from the incompressibility
constraint into two steps using the second-order implicit backward differentiation formula for the time integration. To ensure the stability of this method, we introduce a numerical scheme based on the scalar auxiliary
variable approach an efficient pressure incrementation is introduced using the scalar auxiliary variable approach. Unlike most projection methods for solving incompressible Navier-Stokes equations, the proposed method is free of any numerical inconsistencies generated by the treatment of boundary conditions in the pressure solution. A rigorous stability analysis is also carried out in this study and the proposed method is demonstrated to be consistent and stable with no restrictions on the time step. Numerical results are presented for three flow problems to validate the second-order convergence rates and to illustrate the performance of the proposed time-splitting scheme for unsteady
non-Newtonian incompressible fluids.},

multi-view learning scenarios is becoming increasingly important. Despite the advances in GCNs, it remains a
major challenge to effectively generalize models and improve their stability across different data views. In this
paper, we present a novel framework, the Enhanced Triplet Loss Based Semi-Supervised Graph Convolutional
Network for Multi-View Learning (MV-TriGCN), which addresses these challenges through three primary
innovations. First, we propose an enhanced triplet loss for deep metric learning tailored to the hidden features
of GCNs based on semi-hard negative sample selection. Second, view graphs are constructed using the classical
KNN scheme and a semi-supervised flexible method to improve the diversity of data structure representation
resulting in a more stable hypothesis space. Moreover, we learn an end-to-end multi-view GCN by merging all
available graphs and utilizing the aggregated cross-entropy losses and deep metric losses. Finally, we introduce
a stepwise training strategy that allows the model to adapt to the losses during different optimization phases.
Extensive experiments show that our method outperforms existing state-of-the-art approaches in terms of accuracy and stability},

given that 57% of Malaysians aged 60 and above are active Internet users. The current study utilized an extended technology
acceptance model and the stimulus organism response framework to examine the cognitive-affective dichotomy of usage influence. The respondents were initially selected through purposive sampling and further screened using filter questions to ensure
alignment with the study objectives, resulting in data collected from 392 elderly individuals across various demographic regions of
Malaysia. The analysis was conducted using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) and SmartPLS. The results indicated
that cognitive factors (subjective norm, facilitating conditions, and app characteristics) positively impacted the affective components (perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use), which, in turn, enhanced consumers' attitudes toward using these applications. Furthermore, openness to change and gender were observed to moderate the relationship between affective and
conative responses (word of mouth and behavioral intention). The study provides new insights into the aging population on
food-related mobile applications to governments, food service-based organizations, restaurants, and app designers. Thus,
focus can be on improving app characteristics and facilitating conditions to enhance perceived usefulness and ease of use
while also considering how gender and openness to change may influence consumers' attitudes and behaviors.},

We argue that legislators who have previously held influential positions within Congress, such as Committee President, have a successful track record of (co)sponsoring bills, and have built distinguished political careers, are more likely to be renominated in Congress. To test this theory, we employ an original dataset sourced from the Mexican 2018-2021 Chamber of Deputies, which comprises the inaugural group of Congress members allowed to seek reelection after a 90-year prohibition within the context of a transforming party system marked by the diminishing electoral attractiveness of traditional parties. Our findings carry significant implications for comprehending how party leaders recognise and reward legislators who effectively safeguard the party's interests and uphold its reputation inside the halls of Congress.},

abstract = {The rheological behaviour and viscoelastic properties of ice slurries is studied on their performance in secondary refrigeration systems. These systems limit the primary refrigerant to a closed loop for cooling generation, while a secondary loop using a safer carrier fluid, such as ice slurries, transfers cold energy to the point of use. One of the most widely used technologies for producing such slurries is the scraped surface heat exchanger, which promotes efficient ice formation but introduces mechanical constraints due to ice adhesion [1]. This adhesion can increase energy consumption during scraping (up to 10%) and maintenance costs from surface and blade wear. To better understand the physical properties of such slurries and assess their suitability for transport applications, ice slurries based on a 10% monopropylene glycol solution with varying ice fractions (11%,25%, 35%, 44%) were prepared and analyzed rheologically using vane geometry on a rotational rheometer. At 11%, the fluid behaved as Newtonian in agreement with previous studies for slurries below 15% ice content as reviewed by Ayel [2], with viscosity increases above a certain shear rate attributed to turbulence [3]. For higher ice fractions, the behavior became non-Newtonian, with viscosity rises linked to either turbulent effects or transient flow blockages. Viscoelastic analysis revealed that increasing ice content raised both elastic (G?) and viscous (G?) moduli, reflecting a more cohesive internal structure and enhanced stability. However, higher structuring can lead to reduced pumpability due to potential ice plug formation. In contrast, lower ice fractions improves flow and pumpability but at the cost of mechanical stability. This study highlights the importance of balancing flowability and structural integrity when optimizing ice slurries for energy-efficient and reliable use in refrigeration applications.},

abstract = {This study explores how social sustainability is enabled and constrained within Circular Digitalized Supply Chains (CDSCs), mobilizing paradox theory as a theoretical lens. Through a qualitative analysis of interviews with 22 supply chain (SC), operations, logistics, and procurement managers, the research identifies key paradoxes that emerge when pursuing social goals alongside circular and digital transformations. The study finds that pursuing CDSCs' goals alongside social sustainability objectives creates paradoxical tensions, such as conflicts between efficiency and fair labor practices, data privacy concerns, and the potential for power concentration within digital platforms. These tensions highlight the complexities of balancing competing objectives within CDSC operations. Moreover, the different managerial perspectives, such as SC, operational, logistics, and procurement, may prioritize different aspects of sustainability, leading to potential tensions. These tensions were categorized into four paradoxes: the paradox of progress, the paradox of efficiency, the paradox of control, and the paradox of governance. To manage these paradoxes, the findings highlight the importance of dynamic management, stakeholder engagement, transparency, innovation, and continuous learning. This should also be supported by holistic integration, which involves a unified, comprehensive approach to managing paradoxes in CDSCs, transitioning from separate functional strategies to a cohesive solution. This study contributes to understanding the complexities of social sustainability in CDSCs. It offers insights for practitioners and policymakers seeking to promote more responsible and sustainable SC practices.},

A quantum model for Markowitz portfolio optimization is presented that resolves this by embedding slack variables directly into the problem Hamiltonian. The method maps each slack variable to a dedicated ancilla qubit, transforming the problem into a Quadratic Unconstrained Binary Optimization (QUBO) formulation suitable for the Quantum Approximate Optimization Algorithm (QAOA). This process internalizes the constraints within the quantum state, altering the problem's energy landscape to facilitate optimization. The model is empirically validated through simulation, showing it consistently finds the optimal portfolio where a standard penalty-based QAOA fails. This work demonstrates that modifying the Hamiltonian architecture via a slack-ancilla scheme provides a robust and effective pathway for solving constrained optimization problems on quantum computers. A fundamental quantum limit on the simultaneous precision of portfolio risk and return is also posited.},

Multiple econometric methods, including ordinary least squares (OLS), fixed effects, the generalized method of moments (GMM), and quantile regression, are employed to test the hypotheses. The study's findings indicate a positive association between GHG emissions intensity and ESG performance, suggesting that higher emitting firms tend to bolster their ESG ratings chiefly through enhanced transparency and governance practices rather than through emissions reductions. R&D intensity and CLS also demonstrate positive associations with ESG performance, with powerful effects among firms with initially lower capabilities. Quantile regression results indicate that these relationships vary across performance levels; top-performing firms achieve a deeper level of sustainability integration, whereas lower performing firms rely more heavily on disclosure strategies. These results contribute to a deeper understanding of corporate sustainability in emerging markets and offer practical implications for policymakers, investors, and managers.},

Investigation of returnees receives much attention in management as due to obtaining international human and social capital, returnees contribute to economic and non-economic performance, internationalization, corporate social responsibility activities, social change, innovativeness, and competitive advantage of companies where those returnees work. Returnees' effect on innovative capabilities, i.e. antecedents of innovativeness, is dependent on the extent to which these individuals can share their knowledge and experience. The paper aims to investigate the role of talent management (TM) practices for returnees in shaping firms' innovative capabilities.
Design/methodology/approach
Drawing from the knowledge-based view of the firm and dynamic capabilities theory, the authors use a sample of 80 companies with returnee employees to empirically test the hypotheses.
Findings
The authors show that attraction, development and retention practices aimed at returnees are positively associated with innovative capabilities and innovativeness of companies. Moreover, TM for returnees moderates the relationship between innovative capabilities and innovativeness in firms with returnee employees.

abstract = {Purpose
This study aims to explore whether the presence of a CSR committee is effective in mitigating the bank tail risk. Next, how corporate governance attributes contribute to this association.
Design/methodology/approach
Using data from the US banking sector, the final sample consists of 583 bank-years from 130 banks. The authors start with a bank-year fixed effect regression analysis. Further, they used bank-level cluster effect, Fama-MacBeth regression and Weighted least squares regression for robustness. For endogeneity, they also apply two-stage least squares and generalized method of moments.
Findings
The regression estimation documents that the existence of a CSR committee effectively reduces the tail risk in the banking sector. The main findings are robust with different regression settings and alternate proxies of tail risk. Further, the authors also confirm the existence of this relationship with different levels of corporate governance (CEO duality, board independence, board size and gender diversity) and corporate social responsibility.
Social implications
Enhancing comprehension of the CSR committee's influence on banking tail risk is pivotal for banks in refining their sustainability strategies, a matter of significant societal importance. This research contributes to advancing the UN SDGs, particularly Goal 17, which emphasizes fostering partnerships to achieve common objectives.
Originality/value
Prior research has intensively focused on whether CSR policies are associated with bank risk-taking. In addition, it has mostly formulated the causality from ESG performance to bank risk; hence, the literature lacks heterogeneity in this respect. The investigation validates that the presence of a CSR committee in the financial sector effectively enhances the bank's ESG performance and mitigates its risk.},

abstract = {The advent of the big data paradigm has revolutionized the way industries han-
dle and analyze information, ushering in an era characterized by unprecedented
volumes, velocities, and varieties of data. In this context, mixed data clustering
emerges as a critical challenge, necessitating innovative approaches to effectively
harness the wealth of heterogeneous data types, including numerical and categor-
ical variables. Traditional methods, designed for homogeneous datasets, often fall
short in accommodating the complexities introduced by mixed data, highlight-
ing the need for novel clustering techniques tailored to this context. Hierarchical
and explainable algorithms play a pivotal role in addressing these challenges,
offering structured frameworks that enable interpretable clustering results, which
are essential for informed decision-making. This paper presents a method based
on pretopological spaces. Moreover, benchmarking against traditional numerical

abstract = {This article presents the development and evaluation of a robot-assisted intraoral scanning platform to enhance the precision and repeatability of dental digitization. Intraoral scanners (IOS), a key device in modern restorative dentistry, are highly dependent on practitioner skill, leading to variation in accuracy and increased risk of poorly fitting dental prostheses. A collaborative robot (cobot) is used to mitigate operator variability, reduce musculoskeletal strain and improve educational training. A UR5e cobot equipped with an adaptive gripper and a Dexis IS 3800W IOS was used to digitize a mandibular model, following two occlusal-vestibular-lingual (OVL) scanning pathways and employing two different recording resolutions. Trajectories were generated using SolidWorks and RoboDK software and validated through repeated trials, generating 40 STL files analyzed via Zeiss Inspect software. Metrics such as area of valid distance (AVD), integrated absolute distance (|ID|) and weighted normalized distance (wND) were computed to assess scan quality. In our experimental conditions, high-resolution scans increased surface coverage but did not improve trueness (wND). Initiating scans from the right side improved dimensional precision. Results demonstrate that cobot-assisted scanning can achieve accurate, repeatable digital impressions, offering significant benefits for clinical practice, dental education and telemedicine, particularly in underserved areas. Further trajectory optimization could enhance these outcomes, positioning robotic intraoral scanning as a promising tool in future dental workflows.},

We evaluated the performance in retrieval of 15 proposed methods on a large dataset of 11,565 protein surfaces with calculated electrostatic potential (a key molecular surface descriptor). The performance in retrieval of the proposed methods was evaluated through different metrics (Accuracy, Balanced accuracy, F1 score, Precision and Recall). The best retrieval performance was achieved by the proposed methods that used the electrostatic potential complementary to molecular surface shape. This observation was also valid for classes with limited data which highlights the importance of taking into account additional molecular surface descriptors.},

abstract = {Confirming Turing's theory of morphogens in developmental processes is challenging, and synthetic biology has opened new
avenues for testing Turing's predictions. Synthetic mammalian pattern formation has been recently achieved through a reaction-
diffusion system based on the short-range activator (Nodal) and the long-range inhibitor (Lefty) topology, where a single function
regulates both morphogens. In this paper, we investigate the emergence of Turing patterns in the synthetic Nodal-Lefty system.
First, we prove the existence of a global solution and derive conditions for Turing instability through linear stability analysis.
Subsequently, we examine the behavior of the system near the bifurcation threshold, employing weakly nonlinear analysis, and
using multiple time scales, we derive the amplitude equations for supercritical and subcritical cases. The results demonstrate the
ability of the system to support various patterns, with the subcritical Turing instability playing a crucial role in the formation of
dissipative structures observed experimentally.},

abstract = {In the realm of graph-based semi-supervised learning (GSSL), traditional methodologies often struggle to effectively handle labeled samples and scale to accommodate large datasets. To increase supervision information in semi-supervised learning, the self-training paradigm is often used, mainly in datasets with moderate sizes. On the other hand, the use of anchors was adopted with large datasets. In this research endeavor, we propose a novel framework for GSSL that leverages a novel self-training principle tailored for very large datasets, and introduces an advanced method for automatic graph construction using anchors. Our approach focuses on utilizing generated labels of random batches of unlabeled samples, subsequently incorporating these predictions into the training set to enhance the model's accuracy. Pseudo-labeling, a specific instance of self-training, assigns pseudo-labels to the most confidently predicted unlabeled examples, treating them as ground truth during the training phase. By constructing anchor-to-anchor affinity graphs that incorporate both feature and label information, our method facilitates robust learning on large-scale datasets. Through comprehensive experimentation across diverse large datasets, our approach demonstrates its efficacy in achieving scalable and reliable semi-supervised learning outcomes. These findings represent a significant advancement in the field of GSSL, with wide-ranging implications for various applications across different domains. Our method not only addresses the scalability issue but also ensures the effective integration of both labeled and pseudo labeled data, thereby enhancing the overall learning process.},

abstract = {Stable and efficient food markets are crucial for global food security. However, international staple food markets are increasingly exposed to complex risks, including intensified risk contagion and increasing external uncertainties. This paper systematically investigates risk spillovers in global staple food markets and explores the key determinants of these spillover effects, combining innovative decomposition-reconstruction techniques, risk connectedness analysis, and random forest models. The findings reveal that short-term components exhibit the highest volatility, with futures components generally more volatile than spot components. Further analysis identifies two main risk transmission patterns, namely, cross-grain and cross-timescale transmission, and clarifies the distinct roles of each component in various net risk spillover networks. Furthermore, price drivers, external uncertainties, and core supply-demand indicators significantly influence these spillover effects, with the heterogeneous importance of varying factors in explaining different risk spillovers. This study provides valuable information on the risk dynamics of staple food markets, offers evidence-based guidance to policymakers and market participants to improve risk warning and mitigation efforts, and supports the stabilization of international food markets and the protection of global food security.},

Using an unbalanced panel dataset of 117,410 firm-year observations from five regions, representing 11 industries and operating in 71 countries from 2013 to 2022, our findings reveal that climate change initiatives significantly enhance firm performance. Our results further exhibit that the interaction effects of gender diversity at the board and TMT levels (the trickle-down effect) support climate change initiatives by encouraging environmental management training (EMT), thereby improving firm performance. To address the potential endogeneity issues, we employed a two-step system generalized method of moments (GMM) approach. Our empirical results are robust to endogeneity and alternative measures. Overall, our evidence supports the Resource-Based View Theory and Upper Echelon Theory to demonstrate how a diverse TMT and board members can contribute to more robust climate change strategies by using EMT as a resource to achieve performance objectives. Hence, we make important contributions to the corporate governance and environmentalism strands of the literature by highlighting the role of gender in shaping climate change initiatives and influencing firm performance.},

abstract = {Natural fibres are well known for their high efficiency in evaporation and humidification applications, making them a promising solution for cooling processes during heat waves. Mimicking the evapotranspiration mechanisms of trees is essential for designing optimal fibre wicks in canopy-like devices. Such devices are designed by their capillary rising height and water storage capacity. This study examines the water retention properties and capillary rise height of various yarns: retention tests for surface properties and tomographies for topographical aspects are combined to explain observed water rising height in samples. Tomographic analyses document pore sizes, fibre diameters, and water distribution within the wicks. Water retention properties among the samples range from less than 10% to over 20% of dry mass, reflecting significant wettability differences. However, the ultimate height of water ascension primarily depends on the structural yarn properties. Repeated tomographic scans during the rise reveal that water initially ascends in fibre-dense regions. The competition between capillary and tensile forces causes displacements, redistributing fibre densities. In plant fibres, swelling amplifies these displacements and propagates them along the wick axis. Water envelops individual fibres or bundles, penetrating into the lumens. The size of wet lumens increases due to internal capillary pressure, which is influenced by the convexity of the internal walls. This pressure drives a creeping progression of the water front along the fibre axis. The study finds that a high number of strings with intermediate porosities, which accommodate swelling, enhances the capillary rise height. However, further research is needed to fully understand the role of lumens. While they provide additional water storage capacity and facilitate capillary action through small diameters, they may also reduce the flow rate of water ascent.},

However, existing literature on critical women's entrepreneurship has largely overlooked how health and wellbeing discourses permeate enterprising ideals and impact one's subjectivity. This qualitative study explores how 41 women entrepreneurs construct an enterprising subjectivity through neoliberal healthism, and by doing so, provides a deeper understanding of alternative logics within and beyond the neoliberal logic of the enterprise. Our findings detail who they understand themselves to be by internalizing and at times challenging neoliberal ideals through themes of self-responsibilization, self-optimization, and reflective health. Our main contribution to critical women's entrepreneurship is that we conceptualize how an enterprising subjectivity is constructed through the personal optimization of health and wellbeing, fueled by shared-self-care rather than only the logic of market enterprise.},

However, waste-recycling activities positively influence real earnings management due to the high costs of recycling processes. Additionally, we show that the negative effect of waste reduction on real earnings management is only prevalent in companies with low agency costs, those with high corporate governance quality, and those operating in non-competitive markets. These findings highlight the broader implications of corporate waste management for financial reporting quality. This paper aimed to investigate the impact of individual and organizational antecedents and their interactions on a firm's absorptive capacity (ACAP) based on Coleman's (1990) framework.
Design/methodology/approach
We used multilevel structural equation modeling based on 135 top managers and 307 core knowledge employees from 135 Tunisian companies in the chemical and electrical, electronic and appliance sectors.
Findings
The results show that flexibility-oriented human resource management (HRM) systems are positively associated with ACAP at the organizational level, suggesting that there is a micro-level process underlying this relationship. The results also show that flexibility-oriented HRM systems positively impact extrinsic motivation, which, in turn, fosters creative behavior, further boosting ACAP. Finally, extrinsic motivation and creative behavior mediate the relationship between flexibility-oriented HRM systems and ACAP.
Originality/value
This study provides new insights into the relationship between flexibility-oriented HRM systems and ACAP, highlighting the essential microfoundations that underlie organizational ACAP, i.e. creative behavior and extrinsic motivation. It is one of the first empirical investigations to validate Coleman's (1990) multilevel framework for understanding organizational ACAP.},

capital (CVC) investments, green innovation, and firm value within sustainable corporate practices.
Drawing on theories of sustainable development and corporate environmental responsibility, we
explore how regulatory frameworks influence green innovation initiatives and firm value.
Analysing 1446 observations of 92 United States firms from 2000 to 2020, the analysis reveals a
direct correlation between environmental regulations and green CVC activity, highlighting the role
of regulatory pressure in driving eco-friendly investments. Furthermore, stringent environmental
regulations amplify the impact of green CVC investments on the quantity and quality of green
innovations, as evidenced by increased innovation output and citations. The findings underscore
the role of eco-friendly innovation and green CVC as key drivers of firm value. Notably, we
identify a novel interaction effect where green CVC investments contribute significantly to firm
value, especially when coupled with concurrent green innovation. These insights offer practical
implications for firms seeking a competitive edge through sustainable practices and for
policymakers designing legislation to foster environmentally responsible investments and
