Lucas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management, Strategy & Innovation at EMLV Business School. He holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo (USP), including a split-doctorate research visit at Imperial College London Business School. His research examines the intersections between governance systems, sustainability, and organising , with particular attention to how organisations interact with ecological systems and other-than-human actors. His research interests include multispecies organising, more-than-human systems, biodiversity and organisations, Indigenous perspectives in management, and biodiversity-based supply chains. Through this work, he explores alternative ways of understanding organising and governance that recognise the interdependence between organisations, communities, ecosystems, and non-human species.
