Lucas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Innovation, Information Systems and Supply Chain at EMLV Business School. He holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo (USP), including a split-doctorate research visit at Imperial College London Business School. His research examines the intersections between governance systems, sustainability, and organizing, with particular attention to how organizations interact with ecological systems and other-than-human actors. His research interests include multispecies organizing, more-than-human systems, biodiversity and organizations, Indigenous perspectives in management, and biodiversity-based supply chains. Through this work, he explores alternative ways of understanding organizing and governance that recognize the interdependence between organizations, communities, ecosystems, and non-human species.
