abstract = {Climate change is impacting marine ecosystems and their goods and services in diverse ways, which can directly hinder our ability to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), set out under the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Through expert elicitation and a literature review, we find that most climate change effects have a wide variety of negative consequences across marine ecosystem services, though most studies have highlighted impacts from warming and consequences of marine species.
Climate change is expected to negatively influence marine ecosystem services through global stressors?such as ocean warming and acidification?but also by amplifying local and regional stressors such as freshwater runoff and pollution load.
Experts indicated that all SDGs would be overwhelmingly negatively affected by these climate impacts on marine ecosystem services, with eliminating hunger being among the most directly negatively affected SDG.
Despite these challenges, the SDGs aiming to transform our consumption and production practices and develop clean energy systems are found to be least affected by marine climate impacts. These findings represent a strategic point of entry for countries to achieve sustainable development, given that these two goals are relatively robust to climate impacts and that they are important pre-requisite for other SDGs.
Our results suggest that climate change impacts on marine ecosystems are set to make the SDGs a moving target travelling away from us. Effective and urgent action towards sustainable development, including mitigating and adapting to climate impacts on marine systems are important to achieve the SDGs, but the longer this action stalls the more distant these goals will become.},

abstract = {The operator splitting approach applied to the Navier-Stokes equations gave rise to various numerical methods for the simulations of the dynamics of fluids. The separate work of Chorin and Temam on this subject gave birth to the so-called projection methods. The most basic of those schemes, the incremental and non-incremental variant (see Guermond et al. 2006) induce an artificial Neumann boundary condition on the pressure. The so-called rotational incremental pressure-correction scheme proposed by Timmermans et al. (1996) gives a consistent equation for the pressure in case of a Newtonian fluids with homogeneous viscosity. In this work we propose a family of projection methods for generalized Newtonian fluids based on an extension of the rotational projection scheme. Called shear rate projections, these methods produce consistent pressure when applied to generalized Newtonian fluids. Accuracy of the methods will be illustrated using a manufactured solution. Numerical experiments for the flow past a cylinder, with a Carreau rheological model, will also be presented},

Purpose
With a basis in the conservation of resources theory, the purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between employees' experience of time-related work stress and their engagement in counterproductive work behavior (CWB), as well as the invigorating roles that different deviant personality traits might play in this process.
Design/methodology/approach
Two-wave survey data with a time lag of three weeks were collected from 127 employees in Pakistani organizations.
Findings
Employees' sense that they have insufficient time to do their job tasks spurs their CWB, and this effect is particularly strong if they have strong Machiavellian, narcissistic or psychopathic tendencies.
Originality/value
This study adds to extant research by identifying employees' time-related work stress as an understudied driver of their CWB and the three personality traits that constitute the dark triad as triggers of the translation of time-related work stress into CWB.},

More specifically, we focus on the influence of multinationality, cross-listing, and membership of the United Nations Global Compact on this type of reporting. We use ordinal regression analysis to explore the association between the three factors mentioned above and anti-corruption reporting for a sample of Turkish firms on the Borsa Istanbul 100 index, while controlling for some other factors likely to influence anti-corruption reporting. Findings show a low level of reporting. They also suggest that companies with their shares cross-listed and companies which are members of the Uited Nations Global Compact do present higher levels of anti-corruption reporting than their counterparts.},

abstract = {Various dental diseases lead to prosthetic rehabilitation. Today, prostheses can be manufactured from prefabricated biomaterial raw blocks, which are milled with a CAD/CAM process. The quality of these prostheses can be assessed using roughness, a major surface integrity (SI) component in dentistry [1]. SI is the characteristic signature of the milling process on the generated prosthesis shape [2]. The major challenge in restorative dentistry is to manufacture prostheses, which are able to rehabilitate the teeth in order to fulfil functional performance and aesthetic requirements. For each requirement, a specific SI might be manufactured in different anatomical area of the prosthesis. Aesthetics, biological response and restoration lifetime require a low surface roughness. On the contrary, the surface to be bonded on the remaining dental tissues needs to be sufficiently rough. The main difficulty for prosthesis manufacturers is to integrate the different expected SI during CAM process and to choose the milling process parameters in accordance with the expected prosthesis functionalities. This paper aims to evaluate and quantify the influence on SI of milling tools characteristics, biomaterials properties, and milling process parameters. A comparison to the clinically desired SI is conducted with two performance indicators (PI). a) a weighted relative mean PI named MSI. b) a weighted relative standard deviation PI named SISD. Based on milling experimental results capitalization and the clinically desired SI, the PI are locally computed among the prosthetic shape and displayed on a 3D mapping of the prosthesis shape (figure 1). The mapping results, applied on a crown prosthesis study case, show a limited influence of the tool feedrate parameter, whereas the tool diamond grit size, the tool/prosthesis inclination, and the biomaterials are more significant factors. The use of the PI during the CAM step emphasizes that a topological decomposition of the crown shape is necessary to associate reliable local milling process parameters. The PI provide a valuable assistance to the prosthesis manufacturers to choose efficiently milling parameters according to the prosthesis roughness requirements or to anticipate the post-processing polishing process. These PI can be enriched by new milling experimental results and new relevant SI components.},

abstract = {Prior literature has hinted to costs of proactive behavior on individuals' mental energy and resources. Yet, no studies have explored the impact of proactivity on cognitive resources or its mechanisms. Assuming that attentional resources are finite and need to be allocated between competing demands, we propose that individual task proactivity has a negative impact on end-of-day working memory (WM) performance via hindrance stressors because of intrusive thoughts occupying cognitive resources. On the other hand, given that proactivity is primarily geared towards increasing effectiveness and progress in core tasks, we also consider the potential positive impact of such proactive behavior on end-of-day WM performance via perceived work goal progress freeing up cognitive resources. We conducted a daily diary study (n = 163, k = 701) over five consecutive days. Using multilevel modeling, we found that proactivity was positively associated with hindrance stressors which in turn have a negative impact on end-of-day WM performance. We also found that proactivity was positively associated with perceived work goal progress which in turn had a positive impact on end-of-day WM performance. Our findings suggest that higher levels of daily proactive behavior are associated with impaired executive functioning, supporting the resource intensive nature of proactivity."},

The European corporate bond market is an archetypal example of such an illiquid market where mid-prices can only be estimated with a statistical model. In this OTC market, dealers/market makers only have access, indeed, to partial information about the market. In real time, they know the price associated with their trades on the dealer-to-dealer (D2D) and dealer-to-client (D2C) markets, they know the result of the requests for quotes (RFQ) they answered, and they have access to composite prices (e.g., Bloomberg CBBT). This paper presents a Bayesian method for estimating the mid-price of corporate bonds by using the real-time information available to a dealer. This method relies on recent ideas coming from the particle filtering/sequential Monte Carlo literature.},

abstract = {Fused filament fabrication (FFF) is an additive manufacturing (AM) process that provides physical objects commonly used for modeling, prototyping and production application. The major drawback of this process is poor mechanical property due to the porous structure of final parts. This process requires careful management of coalescence phenomenon. In this paper, the major influencing factors during the FFF process of poly(lactic acid) (PLA) were investigated experimentally and with a numerical model. It has been shown that the polymer temperature has a significant effect on rheological behavior of PLA especially on adhesion of the filaments. An experimental set-up has been placed in the machine to have the cyclic temperature of the filament. A variation of the polymer temperature influences process parameters such as feed rate, temperature of nozzle and temperature of the platform. The results showed that the amount of polymeric coalescence (neck growth) rises when increasing the feed rate, the nozzle temperature, and the platform temperature. A model to predict the neck growth is proposed. It predicts a lower amount of neck growth value than obtained with experimentally. This difference has been explained as the effect of other phenomena, such as polymer relaxation time, pressure of the nozzle and especially cyclic temperature which is not taken into account in the model.},

abstract = {The convergence of technology upgrading such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and digital and social networking platforms provides new directions and solutions for companies. The proposed research seeks to capitalise on and critically interrogate such convergence, how it works and the challenges connectivity brings for internal local life and external global markets of small to medium enterprises (SMEs). SMEs have been considered the most innovative oriented businesses in developed countries even in emerging markets acting as pioneer in the digital transformational word. It has been widely recognised that local SMEs can get advantages from multinational enterprises spillover. However, studies on the horizontal technology spillover between SMEs are scarce. In fact, there is a need to explore the effect of horizontal technology spillover on SMEs for international growth. Therefore, the research offers quantitative metrics such as technology upgrading, knowledge spillover, and technology transfer to explore this effect in the Chinese market. Especially, the empirical research is conducted on a sample of 80 SMEs in Beijing from technology - intensive industry. It critically interrogates how digital, social and transformational technologies impacts SMEs' competitiveness to produce points of digital convergence that connect, co-create and drive local to international growth via structural equation modelling.},

In such a scheme, a user is able to gain access to an element owned by a server, without learning more than this single element, and without the server learning which element the user has accessed. The NIST call for post-quantum encryption and signature schemes has revived the interest for cryptographic protocols based on post-quantum assumptions and the need for secure post-quantum OT schemes. In this paper, we show how to construct an OT scheme based on lattices, from a collision-resistant chameleon hash scheme (CH) and a CCA encryption scheme accepting a smooth projective hash function (SPHF). Note that our scheme does not rely on random oracles and provides UC security against adaptive corruptions assuming reliable erasures.},

abstract = {High speed machining (HSM) is widely used for the manufacturing of aircraft structures, turbine blades, etc. It greatly increases the efficiency and automation for the machining. However, in HSM, operators cannot detect incidents when they manage several machines of a production cell. Robust monitoring systems are required to protect the machine tool and the high value added parts. In the global context of the Industry 4.0, abundant digital data is available in a modern manufacturing company and could be used to turn the machines-tools smarter and to support the decision making of the operational management.
One of the first step of data mining approach is the accurate selection of relevant. To do so, the raw data need to be classified into different contextual clusters. This paper compares two different methods of the unsupervised classification of machining context: K-means and GMM (Gaussian Mixture Model). It was found that GMM method can classify correctly the machining context, whereas K-means is not suitable.},

abstract = {The inverse Lamperti transform of a fractional Brownian motion (fBm) is a stationary process. We determine the empirical Hurst exponent of such a composite process with the help of a regression of the log absolute moments of its increments, at various scales, on the corresponding log scales. This perceived Hurst exponent underestimates the Hurst exponent of the underlying fBm. We thus encounter some time series having a perceived Hurst exponent lower than 1/2, but an underlying Hurst exponent higher than 1/2. This paves the way for short- and medium-term forecasting. Indeed, in such series, mean reversion predominates at high scales, whereas persistence is overriding at lower scales. We propose a way to characterize the Hurst horizon, namely a limit scale between these opposite behaviors. We show that the delampertized fBm, which mixes persistence and mean reversion, is relevant for financial time series, in particular for high-frequency foreign exchange rates. In our sample, the empirical Hurst horizon is always above 1h and 23min.},

The stream of research in IPA and IPV in the context of work focused on its direct impact on individuals and organizations. Most of the key papers used qualitative methods and were published in non-management journals. In this symposium, we aim to stimulate discourse on IPA at work among management scholars. We do this by presenting a holistic account of the impact of IPA and IPV at work by offering four papers examining the issue covering both individual and organizational perspectives. Specifically, we advance insights from the organizational perspective through a review of extant IPV research using the lens of political corporate social responsibility and an empirical investigation of the role of gender in key decision-making positions on the adoption of HR practices supportive of IPV. Moreover, we advance understanding of the individual mechanisms linking IPA, emotions, and work outcomes. Collectively, the four papers set the stage for further scholarship on IPA at work and the development of policies that help mitigate the negative effects of stigma of IPA, thereby helping to build an inclusive workplace.},

The findings suggest that the entrepreneurial component of strategic entrepreneurship is positively related to SME performance during the economic crisis; moreover, a significant negative link was found between SME performance of firms outside

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the peculiarities of human resource management (HRM) practices in Kazakh firms and identify the factors that influence them. Attention is paid to analysis of the country-specific environment, which shapes the peculiarities of HRM and provides discussion on the respective Westernization or localization perspectives.
Design/methodology/approach
The paper argues that HRM practices are influenced by a number of factors, some of which are rather specific to Kazakhstan and some are common in a Commonwealth of Independent States' context. The study uses exploratory research which includes the conduction of a survey, consisting of blocks of questions, for data collection.
Findings
The results show that despite dynamic economic growth of Kazakhstan's economy, HRM practices are still in transition from those of Soviet heritage to ones that exist in Western multinational corporations. They cannot fully match the country's needs for HRM development. Several recommendations for the future development of HRM in Kazakhstan are made.
Originality/value
The study examines the adaptation of HRM practices to the business environment in Kazakhstan.},
