abstract = {Situations marked with ambiguity can induce an aversion due to heightened fear of the unknown augmented by individual differences in ambiguity tolerance levels (Einhorn & Hogarth, 1985). Under such situations, an individual's ambiguity tolerance levels can be influenced based on the need to compare with others for ability-related or opinion-related social comparisons. Moreover, specific personality dispositions and emotions like the tendency to maximize and proneness to feel regret are prone to be sensitive towards social comparison effects. Hence, by employing two survey studies across different cultural backgrounds of the Indian context (N = 259) and US context (N = 284), this study aims to examine the under-researched relation between an individual's social comparison orientation (SCO) and tolerance for ambiguity (ToA), along with the emotional disposition traits of maximization and proneness to regret. The results show that the relationship is significant across both survey studies. However, only for ability-related social comparisons. While maximization tendency came as a significant predictor in the Indian context, in the US context, proneness to feel regret came as a significant predictor between the relation of SCO and ToA. The results show that comparing with others influences the tolerance for ambiguity. However, different personality traits reflective of collectivist vs individualistic cultural backgrounds also are a significant predictor of this relation.},

abstract = {In recent in vitro experiments on co-culture between breast tumour spheroids and activated immune cells, it was observed that the introduction of the stress hormone cortisol
resulted in a decreased immune cell infiltration into the spheroids. Moreover, the presence of cortisol deregulated the normal levels of the pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines IFN-?
and IL-10. We present an individual-based model to explore the interaction dynamics between tumour and immune cells under psychological stress conditions. With our model,
we explore the processes underlying the emergence of different levels of immune infiltration,
with particular focus on the biological mechanisms regulated by IFN-? and IL-10. The set-up of numerical simulations is defined to mimic the scenarios considered in the experimental
study. Similarly to the experimental quantitative analysis, we compute a score that quantifies the level of immune cell infiltration into the tumour. The results of numerical simulations indicate that the motility of immune cells, their capability to infiltrate through
tumour cells, their growth rate and the interplay between these cell parameters can affect the level of immune cell infiltration in different ways. Ultimately, numerical simulations
of this model support a deeper understanding of the impact of biological stress-induced mechanisms on immune infiltration.},

Studies in the past have shown that firms haven't been able to gain a long-term competitive advantage by using environmental strategies. Hence, the research analyses how 371 B2B firms from developed and emerging European countries achieve competitive advantage through green marketing strategies. Additionally, those firms are also assessed in reference to their level of engagement with environmental, social, and governance strategies. Our findings highlight that the more the engagement in green marketing by B2B firms, the greater the green competitive advantage that B2B firms in developed European markets can achieve. Hence, the study explores the relationship of B2B marketing, environmental sustainability, and corporate profitability, providing insights into how European firms can balance their financial objectives with their social and environmental responsibilities. The originality of the research stressed the need to pursue social and environmental goals and to preserve the future of people, planet, and profit through green marketing strategies. Investing in future business models and green competitive advantage is especially important for B2B European emerging firms' markets.},

Food influencers, for example, frequently feature home cooking, a healthier behavior compared to snacking or dining out. This study explored the potential of social media influencers in promoting such behavior. Driven by social cognitive theory, we explored whether self-efficacy, perceived benefits, and concerns (social, entertainment, health, and economic) relate to the intention of the audience to cook at home following the recipes an Instagram influencer provides. We conducted three separate studies (two surveys and one experiment) with a French population of social network platform users. Our results showed that the entertainment value of an observed behavior is the main driver for imitation on social media, along with self-efficacy, at least for women. Mixed results were obtained for social benefits. The perceived ease of the recipe, cooking experience, and explicit verbal encouragement were positively related to self-efficacy. Surprisingly, the effect of health and economic benefits or concerns and labeling was not confirmed.},

abstract = {In a changing business environment, firms encounter significant challenges to fulfill sustainable development goals. However, firms can make substantial progress by adopting regenerative approaches grounded in circular economy principles, enabling them to effectively pursue sustainable development objectives such as responsible production and consumption (goal 12), climate action (goal 13), and the preservation of life on land (goal 15). However, there is a scarcity of research studies that offer guidance to top supply chain (SC) executives, aiming to enhance their environmental focus and enhance the SC viability through regenerative SC practices. This study employed the philosophical perspective of the natural resource-based view. Advancing the SC literature, it tested a theoretical model to investigate the relationship between the political skills and SC analytics skills of top SC executives and the environmental orientation of SCs. Additionally, it examined the direct and indirect (via regenerative SC) relationships between a firm's environmental orientation and SC viability. This study also tested the moderating role of a firm's artificial intelligence-driven big data analytics culture in these relationships. Applying a mixed-methods approach, the study derived a theoretical model to link the aforementioned constructs. Apart from a qualitative investigation, data were also collected through a questionnaire-based survey from 375 samples. The results indicated that the relationship between the political skills and SC analytics skills of top SC executives toward the environmental orientation of SCs is significant. Furthermore, they indicated that a firm's environmental orientation is positively related to a regenerative SC, which in turn enhances SC viability. The findings also provided evidence that a firm's AI-driven big data analytics culture enhances the strength of these relationships. The current study extends the knowledge base by integrating the two unique concepts of digitalization and circular economy.},

Then, it also examines the effect of commitment contracts and innovation on the performance of the FSC. The research model is developed using behavioural economics concepts and collaborative theory. Furthermore, five research hypotheses are tested using samples from food manufacturers and other related supply chain partners. Covariance-based structural equation modelling technique is used in this study, and necessary tests were done to ensure the high quality of findings. Buyer-supplier partnerships demonstrate both direct and indirect effects on the CE performance in FSC. The findings supported the serial mediation effect wherein buyer-supplier partnerships are found to exert their impact on the CE in FSC through commitment contracts and innovation performance in a successive way. The uniqueness of this study lies in the use of behavioural economics concepts to enhance CE performance. The study advances knowledge of commitment contracts by indicating whether and how it connects to CE performance results.},

abstract = {Although the circular economy is commonly used among industries in developing countries to achieve carbon neutrality targets, its impact on social sustainability must be clarified. Stakeholders (for instance, community stakeholders) have been observed to be unaware of the focal firm's circular supply chain activities. Because this gap has not been generally reflected in the literature, it is critical to perform an empirical study to bridge the gap between theory and practice. The goal of this research was to determine whether new technologies such as big data and predictive analytics might influence an organization's propensity to share information related to circular economy practices with stakeholders as well as to increase connectivity with those stakeholders in the Industry 4.0 era. We also investigated whether these actions could increase stakeholder trust and engagement and social sustainability as a result. We tested our theoretical model using samples from food supply chain firms in South Africa. Confirmatory factor analysis was conducted using WarpPLS 7.0 software. The findings show that firms that deploy big data and predictive analytics are more likely to share information related to the circular economy with stakeholders and that these firms are also well-connected with those stakeholders, resulting in increased trust and engagement. This, in turn, contributes to the social sustainability of supply chains. Our research has made a significant contribution by encouraging a theoretical debate regarding the willingness to share information regarding the circular economy and the social sustainability of the supply chain.},

The method belongs to a class of viscosity-splitting procedures and it consists of separating the convection term and incompressibility constraint into two time steps. Unlike the conventional projection methods, the viscosity is not dropped in the last step allowing to enforce the full original boundary conditions on the end-of-step velocity which eliminates any concerns about the numerical boundary layers. We carry out a rigorous error analysis and provide a full first-order error estimate for both the velocity and pressure solutions in the relevant norms. Numerical results are presented for two test examples of non-

Business organizations function under social norms, and to establish an ethical identity, they must show corporate ethical responsibility, embrace ethical standards, and maintain open communication with suppliers. While an organization's reputation is impacted by the absence of an ethical identity, its financial success is unaffected. Extant literature has not thrown a spotlight on social and environmental performance which indicates that less focus has been given by academics than by practitioners. To fill the lacuna in the existing literature, this study examines the relationships between corporate ethical identity, corporate brand identity, social and environmental performance. The study uses a deductive research approach and develops hypotheses which are further tested using variance based structural equation modeling. The study offers a distinctive contribution to ethics theory and stakeholder theory by showing that developing an ethical identity requires more than just adhering to moral guidelines and upholding open communication. Companies must show that they are ethically responsible towards society. The study provides evidence of the influence corporate brand identity has on environmental and social performance. The findings can be useful in developing business-to-business marketing strategies.},

exhaustion between employees' exposure to knowledge hiding and their job performance.
Moreover, we examine the buffering role of emotional intelligence, investigating whether
employees with higher emotional intelligence can mitigate the harmful effects of resourcedepleting
episodes of knowledge hiding. The study employed paper-and-pencil surveys to
collect multi-source, time-lagged data from 319 employees and their respective supervisors in

hiding diminishes employees' job performance through emotional exhaustion. However, this
negative relationship is less salient for employees with higher levels of emotional intelligence.
This study informs important insights for organisations on why and when employees' experiences of knowledge hiding curtail their performance-enhancing efforts.},

The RD measurements were carried out using a rheometer set-up and different vane-blade types rotating at different speeds. According to the experimental results, the RD values were found in good agreement with the workability of the investigated mixtures. Moreover, the RD values were well correlated with the coupled effect of the relative solid packing fraction of coarse aggregate (?/?max) and viscoplastic properties of the investigated CVC mixtures. Furthermore, a strong correlation was established between the rheological properties of the lubrication layer, RD values, and the ?/?max of coarse aggregate.},

This study explores the relationship between the information quality, system quality, and service quality of blockchain-enabled smart contracts (BSCs) with collaboration quality to achieve net-zero emissions. The study further explores the role of collaboration quality in influencing the intention-to-use BSC and organizational satisfaction. The study employed the revised DeLone and McLean model and validated it with data from 434 respondents using structural equation modeling. The results validate all the hypotheses derived from the updated DeLone and McLean information system (IS) success model. There exist significant relationships between information quality, system quality, and service quality in the BSCs leading to collaboration quality to achieve net-zero emissions. The study establishes the significant role of collaboration quality which positively impacts usage behavior and organizational satisfaction, mediated by the intention to use. The findings of this study offer insights for organizations and policymakers seeking to harness blockchain for environmental sustainability.},

abstract = {Research Question/Issue
We investigate the impact of board co-option on corporate environmental orientation from the perspective of waste management. As waste presents damaging effects on the natural environment, climate change, and human health, businesses assume an ethical responsibility to conduct their operations in a sustainable and responsible manner.
Research Findings/Insights
Employing firm-level waste production data, we document a significant negative relationship between board co-option and waste generation, suggesting that co-opted directors help firms reduce their waste?a finding that also carries economic significance. The cross-sectional analyses reveal that the relationship only holds when a CEO does not chair the board and has a shorter tenure. Furthermore, we find that the board co-option-waste management relationship is stronger in environmentally sensitive industries and is mainly driven by the manufacturing firms. We perform a battery of analyses to rule out endogeneity concerns and check for the robustness of our results. The channel test reveals that CEOs of firms with higher waste management face lower performance-induced turnover, particularly when working with co-opted boards. Finally, we also find that co-option-induced waste management initiatives ultimately increase firms' economic value.
Theoretical/Academic Implications
We document that co-opted boards may enhance firms' waste management practices by reducing performance-induced CEO turnover. Thus, we make important contributions to the corporate governance and environmentalism strands of the literature by highlighting the bright side of board co-option for waste reduction initiatives.
Practitioner/Policy Implications
Our study provides vital policy implications for regulators and top management teams against the background of public outcry and social pressure to mitigate the damage to the environment and calls for ethical business practices.},

abstract = {Purpose
?Born global firms? are those organizations which, from their inception and by nature, adopt an essentially global-scale entrepreneurial functional and attitudinal strategy for growth. They seek to gain significant competitive advantage by utilizing their internal resources while leveraging external environment potentialities, to sell their outputs internationally. The aim of this research is to investigate the influence of the external business environment and the dynamic capabilities of born global firms, on their strategic and operational performance, as well as the role of leadership vision on their internationalization performance.
Design/methodology/approach
Initially and resting on extant literature with pertinent foci, including the absorptive capacity and the dynamic capability view theories, a conceptual model is proposed. Subsequently, the model is validated through the partial least square structural equation modeling technique, based on 417 respondents from Indian firms.
Findings
The study concludes that the external business environment and internal dynamic capabilities of born global firms have a significant and positive impact on their strategic, as well as operational performance; with leadership vision playing a significant moderating role to this relationship. The study finally presents the executive implications of the findings and identifies the avenues for further scientific research.
Originality/value
This is a unique study on the topic, both in relation to resources/capabilities versus performance and with regards to the leadership vision's role. It moreover focuses on a primary business force, India, which comprises prime examples of global entrepreneurship. The research constituting a significant contribution to knowledge, as research on how small firms can strategically grow so rapidly and effectively, is still far from conclusive, particularly under the present evolutions that incessantly redefine the contextual business forces upon which strategy is drawn.},

abstract = {Firms' internationalization, the most essential topic in the international business discipline, have in recent years become highly entangled with political processes at multiple levels. Neither firm strategies and processes, nor IB theories and models have yet caught up with increasing politicization. In this paper, we pose three questions: why are firms increasingly affected by politics in their internationalization? How do firms respond to the increasing role of politics? And finally, how do theories considered foundational across IB research incorporate politics? We discuss how the resource-based view, transaction cost economics, institutional theory and agency theory relate to politics. Further, we identify eight predominant dimensions where firms are affected by politics. Finally, we suggest that the increasing role of politics can be ascribed not only to specific macro-level historical events but also to more fundamental micro-level transformations in prevalent institutional configurations of firms' value adding activities.},

In this connection, observers' silence might function as a mediator, and leader-member exchange quality could moderate the process. The tests of these predictions rely on two studies, undertaken in Pakistan: a temporally separated field study using three-wave data (N = 219) and a scenario-based experiment (N = 118). The combined results indicate that employees feel guilty for remaining silent when they witness supervisor ostracism of other colleagues. The positive relationship between such observations of supervisor ostracism and silence behavior is more pronounced among employees who enjoy high-quality relationships with their supervisor. In addition to establishing key theoretical insights, this article alerts organizations to a critical mechanism (silence to avoid upsetting supervisors) by which employees' observations of how supervisors ostracize others can escalate into their own sense of guilt.},

abstract = {The increasing global warming and soaring fossil fuel prices have made energy generation minimization a crucial objective. As a result, the relevance of smart grids has significantly grown, especially in the context of regulating energy demand based on available resources. This necessitates the implementation of Demand Side Management (DSM) tools for effective regulation. While various models and architectures have been developed for smart grids, the utilization of holonic architectures remains limited in existing literature. In this paper, we propose a holonic architecture specifically tailored for smart grids, which proves to be highly advantageous. Holonic architectures are particularly valuable in smart grids as they enable seamless operation among different actors, even during technical challenges. Our proposed model consists of interconnected agents forming holons, with five agents working in tandem to ensure flexibility across multiple aspects. We have tested this model in three different scenarios. The first scenario represents a healthy grid. The second scenario simulates a grid with production mismanagement. Lastly, the third one simulates a grid experiencing a region-specific blackout. Results show how the grid distributes the available energy depending on the available production, storage (if any) and the assurance of the distribution across the various requesting holons.},

abstract = {Ice slurry is an alternative method to reduce the quantity and emission of greenhouse refrigerants, as well as control electrical energy consumption. However, the production of ice slurry requires the use of scraped-surface generators, which are costly to maintain and consume high mechanical energy. Therefore, studying the icephobic behavior of surfaces is of interest to significantly reduce ice adhesion and facilitate detachment without the need for mechanical scrapers. This study focuses on the growth, adhesion, and detachment phenomena of ice by liquid jets on different types of surfaces (hydrophilic, hydrophobic, and superhydrophobic) immersed in a 10 wt% ethanol/water mixture. A liquid jet is used to detach the ice layer from the surfaces, with a velocity ranging from 0 to 2.87 m s?1, and the surface temperature varies from 25 °C to approximately -9 °C. The results show that ice adheres less to hydrophilic and hydrophobic surfaces compared to superhydrophobic surfaces. The use of PTFE-treated aluminum surfaces (hydrophobic) reduces the required flow velocity to detach the ice layer by half compared to untreated aluminum surfaces (hydrophilic). An ANSYS® Fluent numerical model was developed to simulate the evolution of turbulent velocities of immersed liquid jets, and a semi-empirical model was designed to estimate the detachment forces of soft ice from hydrophilic surfaces (untreated aluminum). Two types of ice detachment from surfaces were identified: adhesive detachment and cohesive detachment.},

These results are more prevalent for female independent directors and in the voluntary approach of appointing women on boards. The results also show that gender diversity among executives, particularly the Chief financial officer (CFO) position, is associated with an increase in corporate and green innovation. We apply a multi-methods research design, including qualitative research conducted within a selection of museums in France, an intercept study at Le Louvre Museum (Paris, France) and finally an online survey. Our findings concurrently put forward the concept of social mediation and illustrate the changing role of museum mediation processes that imply the transformation of visitor experience from a receptive format (consuming informative and entertaining content) to an interactive and collaborative format, through the use of social media and other ICT tools deployed and used complementarily to fulfill visitors needs and gratifications and foster what we call the visitor ?omni-visit experience'. However, why and when CSR perceptions lead to counterproductive work behavior, such as cyberloafing, remains unclear. In this article, we first investigate the mediating role of workplace boredom in explaining the effect of perceived CSR toward employees on cyberloafing behaviors. We further examine the moderating role of moral disengagement in this process. Overall, the results of our cross-sectional, experimental, and three-wave studies provide strong evidence for our hypothesized relationships. Our research suggests that moral disengagement weakens the effect of internal CSR on workplace boredom, such that for employees high in moral disengagement, the level of internal CSR has a weaker effect on workplace boredom.},

abstract = {The study aims to empirically examine the effect of carbon-neutrality policies on the key resources needed for Industry 4.0 driven smart manufacturing and how these resources can provide a sustainable competitive advantage. The theoretical framework is integrated with the institutional theory and the resource-based view (RBV). The empirical method is used for collecting data through surveys and further covariance-based structural equation modeling is used to test the hypotheses. Findings indicate that carbon-neutral-based government policies have a stronger influence on tangible resources and human skills than intangible resources related to Industry 4.0 driven smart manufacturing. Second, carbon-neutral policy alignment with the firm's sustainability objectives plays a moderating effect on the relationship between carbon-neutral-based government policies and resources (tangible, intangible resources and human skills) for Industry 4.0 driven smart manufacturing. Lastly, the three resources (tangible, intangible resources and human skills) for Industry 4.0 driven smart manufacturing play a critical role in developing firms' carbon-neutral capability and further enhancing operational performance. Managerial implications include investment in advanced digital technologies, developing a strong mindset among employees and supply chain stakeholders, and designing training programs for enhancing smart manufacturing performance to develop carbon-neutrality capability. This study proposes a hybrid theory in the context of carbon neutrality by integrating institutional theory and RBV. This is the first study that examines the effect of carbon neutrality-based government policies on vital Industry 4.0-driven smart manufacturing resources and the indirect effect on carbon neutrality capability and operational performance.},

abstract = {Purpose - This study investigates how employees' experience of resource-depleting workplace loneliness
may steer them away from performance-enhancing work efforts as informed by their propensity to engage in
negative work rumination. It also addresses whether and how religiosity might serve as a buffer of this harmful
dynamic.
Design/methodology/approach - The hypotheses tests rely on three-round survey data collected among
employees who work in various organizations in Pakistan - a relevant country context, considering the
importance of people's religious faith for their professional functioning and its high-uncertainty avoidance and
collectivism, which likely make workplace loneliness a particularly upsetting experience.
Findings - An important channel through which a sense of being abandoned at work compromises job
performance is that employees cannot ?switch off? and stop thinking about work, even after hours. The role of
this explanatory mechanism is mitigated, however, when employees can draw from their religious beliefs.
Practical implications - For human resource (HR) managers, this study pinpoints a notable intrusion into
the personal realm, namely, repetitive thinking about work-related issues, through which perceptions of workrelated
loneliness translate into a reluctance to contribute to organizational effectiveness with productive work
activities. It also showcases how this translation can be subdued with personal resources that enable employees
to contain the hardships they have experienced.
Originality/value - This study helps unpack the connection between workplace loneliness and job
performance by detailing the unexplored roles of two important factors (negative work rumination and
religiosity) in this connection.

A great deal of works has studied candidate constructions that are secure against quantum attackers, which are based on either lattice assumptions, or post-quantum collision-resistant hash functions. In this paper, we propose a code-based zk-SNARK scheme, whose security is based on the rank support learning (RSL) problem, a variant of the random linear code decoding problem in the rank metric.
Our construction follows the general framework of Gennaro et al. (CCS'18), which is based on square span programs (SSPs). Due to the fundamental differences between the hardness assumptions, our proof of security cannot apply the techniques from the lattice-based constructions, and indeed, it distinguishes itself by the use of techniques from coding theory. We also provide the scheme with a set of concrete parameters.},

abstract = {Purpose
A paucity of studies has used a microfoundation lens to examine servitization processes in internationalized knowledge-intensive business service (KIBS) companies. The research aims to bridge this gap by considering knowledge sharing as a form of both codified knowledge and informal feedback knowledge; it also assesses whether the adoption of knowledge transfer and translation practices in a servitization process positively moderates the effect of knowledge transformation on knowledge sharing for internationalized KIBS companies.
Design/methodology/approach
By adopting a microfoundation lens, the research offers an empirical analysis to identify the relations between codified and tacit knowledge in servitization processes within internationalized KIBS companies. The study is based on 326 respondents from 30 KIBS companies. A multiple regression analysis was used for hypotheses testing.
Findings
The authors found significant relations among the use of electronic documents in the servitization process (formal codified knowledge), personal advice in servitization (informal feedback knowledge) and knowledge sharing in internationalized KIBS companies. Findings also support the indirect effect assumed in the hypothesis between knowledge transformation and knowledge sharing in internationalized KIBS companies, which is positively moderated by the adoption of cross-cultural knowledge practices in the servitization process.
Originality/value
To the best of the authors' knowledge, this research provides the first conceptual model of the use of a microfoundation lens to examine knowledge sharing in internationalized KIBS companies. The micro level features individual knowledge sharing in the servitization process, while the meso level focuses on knowledge transformation in KIBS companies and the adoption of knowledge transfer and translation practices in the servitization process.},
