We study the eletron aeleration by driven eletron plasma waves. The model onsists of the Zakharov equations for the eletron plasma and ion aousti waves driven by an external periodi fore. A modi ation of the eletron distribution funtion is aounted for in the quasilinear approximation. The simulations de ne the saturation levels and spetra of eletron plasma and ion aousti waves and haraterize the shape of the eletron distribution in funtion of the wave number and the amplitude of the pump.
