This paper addresses the double hedge of NFT projects' legitimacy. In particular, it aims to answer the following questions: What are the sources and threats of NFT projects' legitimacy? And what is the role of collective legitimacy in the NFT context? This conceptual paper contributes to the emerging NFT and to the legitimacy streams of the literature. Using illustrative examples, this article unveils the specificities of NFT legitimacy, especially through the collective legitimacy dimension.},

abstract = {The NFTs (non-fungible tokens) market is booming. NFTs sales have mainly been dominated by speculative trading of cryptocollectibles, most of them often generated by algorithm. NFTs are being experienced in several industries such as fashion, fine jewelry and spirits, sports, music and gaming while in the latter they reached a maturity level. Individuals purchase NFTs for their underlying value based on their uniqueness and ownership claims, as well as their unicity and comparative scarcity as digital assets, even though they do not necessarily possess the original assets. Academic literature on NFTs are scant and those related to NFTs creators are at their infancy. NFTs are reshaping the market of digital assets with several business models (centralized versus decentralized collaboration models) are being implemented, calling to further examine the value of NFTs as a new business model. Furthermore, while NFTs are a disruptive technology with many new ideas are being implemented and opportunities foreseen, there is a need to map the different business models that are developed in the NFTs market and their key features in order to understand the behaviors of the creators and acknowledge the viability of these specific ventures. To address this knowledge gap, this research paper provides a brief overview of NFTs business models and discuss their implications from business model innovation perspective.},

and China, we aim at answering the question whether and to which extent national diasporas influence host and home firms' decisions
about FDI location choice. This also serves as a foundation for the generalizability of our results to any other situation, where diaspora'
homeland is an emerging market. Based on the analysis of the FDI location decisions, the information cost perspective and diaspora
literature, we develop a conceptual outline that is supported by propositions. This research provides a holistic insight on the role of
diasporas by simultaneously investigating and comparing the effect of foreign diasporas for both their home and host country firms'
location choice decisions. We contribute in the FDI location literature and the information cost concept, proposing that Chinese
diaspora abroad reduce the home and host firms' costs of information and serve as a necessary source for those companies' decision making investing in a new foreign market by promoting investments outside SEZs or other FDIs facilitation entities.},

abstract = {This research aims to identify country-level factors of Chinese OFDI into Latin American and Eurasian regions. Several objectives
were formulated: to study Chinese outward technology FDI, to identify the role of macroeconomic environment and institutional
distance in their FDI location choice and to reveal the key country-level effects of Chinese OFDI into both regions. The results indicate
that the host country's economic development measured by GDP per capita along with Free Trade Agreements positively influences
Chinese investments into Latin America, while the host country's natural resources play a significant role in attracting Chinese OFDI
into the Eurasian region. However, the institutional and political environment, measured by and institutional and cultural distance
China-host country and host country political risk, seems not to influence Chinese investment into both regions. Our findings suggest
that Chinese OFDI toward both region is strongly driven by state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and thanks to the support provided by
the Chinese government might are less affected by the host country's political and institutional environment. This supporting role of
the Chinese government may well explain the unconventional behavior of Chinese MNEs' foreign investments location choice into
both regions.},

Our research contributes to the narrative studies of entrepreneurial identity construction, where there is a historical prevalence of the discourses of individuality, heroics, and masculinity (Drakopoulou, Anderson, 2007; Johansson, 2004; Nicholson, Anderson, 2005; Pettersson, 2012). Our results show that the usually idealized narrative of the heroic entrepreneur, while still much alive and initial influential in our participants stories, is reappropriated and changed to better represent and change their communities' situated struggles. Our cases of entrepreneurship identity construction therefore follows a different path where the reinsertion into stigmatized place pushes participants to strategically deconstruct the typical entrepreneurial identity and build different role models for their community.},

Such a challenge can be addressed by an energy actor, the Trusted Third Party for Energy Measurement and Performance, by identifying consumption profiles, making diagnostics, proposing energy performance enhancement and evaluating the energy savings resulting from these changes.
A thesis was funded by such an actor to study and solve these issues.
To accomplish this, the first step is recognising the energy actors as complex sociotechnical systems and identifying the appropriate modeling approach.
In this article a detailed data infrastructure adapted to the big data challenges raised by the transformation of today's energy sectors is then proposed.
It is designed to address governance guidelines through DevOps methodology.
Finally the results of a hierarchical clustering algorithm based on pretopology are briefly presented along with future works.},

CO2 hydrates was selected at previous work as a candidate material for secondary refrigeration. In this study, cyclopentane, a thermodynamic promoter that has been identified for its promotive qualities to lower the formation pressure of CO2 hydrates was used to form mixed CP + CO2 hydrate slurries. This work deploys a temperature-controlled flowloop to characterize the rheological properties of hydrate slurries generated in situ from oil-in-water emulsions. Systems of 3 - 15wt% cyclopentane fraction to form pure CP hydrate and mixed CP + CO2 hydrate slurries were tested. The results showed that the viscosity of CP and mixed CP + CO2 hydrate slurries increase with the decrease of the shear rate, exhibiting a shear-thinning behavior. With a similar protocol, a rheological characterization involving a long period of hydrate slurries circulation was conducted. The results illustrated that the hydrate slurries behavior change with time. A thermal study was performed using heating tube method applied and heat transfer coefficients were determined for different cyclopentane fraction.},

2 hydrate slurry is a promising phase change material for secondary refrigeration cold distribution
issues, due to its high latent heat (about 500 kJ.kg 1 of water, higher than that of ice 333 kJ.kg 1) and
wide melting temperature range suitable for air c onditioning application. While the thermodynamic
properties of CO 2 hydrates are now well established, knowledge of crystallization kinetics phenomena
is still a challenge. Trying to understand and control the formation of gas hydrates is a key factor since
their discovery in pipeline plugs by Hammerschmidt, but unlike that case, the goal here is to promote
the rate of CO 2 hydrate formation. Most laboratory scale hydrate reactors are equipped with pressure
and temperature loggers, and mass balance on CO 2 all ows formation kinetic studies, but with
assumptions on CO 2 concentration in liquid phase in the liquid phase and the hydration number.
The
present work investigates the kinetics of CO 2 hydrate crystallization for different types of stirrers
and stirring sp eed conditions in a jacketed stirred batch reactor. Heat balance obtain experimentally
using a specially developed sensor installed on the cooling jacket. The mass fraction of crystallized

cooling steps and ice crystallization allowed the method validation before to apply it to CO 2 hydrate

this kinetic determination by estimating heat fl ows inside the reactor and with the environment.},

Entrepreneurs are embedded in their entrepreneurial ecosystems; the latter are determinant of their prosperity or failure. Entrepreneurial ecosystem and failure research have mostly focused on advanced economies, although the pandemic effect is harsher in emerging economies. This study instigates the impact of the global pandemic on the relationship between entrepreneurial ecosystem and entrepreneurial failure in the context of emerging economies. Building on the attribution theory, a survey of 450 entrepreneurs and an SEM analysis were conducted. The findings reveal the shock waves of COVID-19 outbreak on suboptimal entrepreneurial ecosystems in emerging countries. As such, the health pandemic accentuated the institutional voids typifying such ecosystems. Directions are provided on the areas of focus to adjust the ecosystem to the crisis.},

It is now easier to examine behaviors of tourists using digital traces they

In this paper, we suggest a study focused on both qualitative and

tourist behavior, especially those concerning attractions networks.},

abstract = {It is claimed that state-owned enterprises (SOEs) have advantages over private enterprises when it comes to furthering social
commitments, creating infrastructure and providing stability in times of crises. Most importantly, SOEs contribute to societal value
creation and development of human capital, innovation, and welfare (PwC, 2015). SOEs' commitment to sustainable development is
crucial, since they are often of large size and operate in industries that are of high importance. State firms do demonstrate a higher
commitment to sustainable development than private companies, but this largely depends on the location and industry (OECD, 2020).
Despite the societal importance of SOEs, there is a scarcity of studies that address the question of SOEs environmental, social and
governance commitments, therefore, we aim to contribute here. We intend to theoretically examine ESG strategies of SOEs to respond
to the research question: ?How does ESG-agenda serve SOEs' purpose??. Our research considers the ESG dimension of SOEs'
strategies through the prism of major theoretical approaches used in SOEs studies (Cuervo-Cazurra et al., 2014): agency theory,
resource-based view, neo-institutional theory, legitimacy theory, stakeholder theory, and political economy perspective. Our intention
is to frame the diversity of SOEs' roles and choices into the relevant theoretical perspectives.},

abstract = {This study explores the indirect relation between corporate social responsibility (CSR) performance and the cost of debt through two channels: information asymmetry and risk profile. We also examine how mandatory CSR disclosures influence the relation between CSR performance and the cost of debt. Based on a sample of French non-financial listed companies over the period 2005-2016 and a path model, we show that there is a negative effect of CSR performance on the cost of debt via the risk channel, while the effect of CSR via the information asymmetry channel is not robust supporting the risk management argument. These results suggest that CSR performance provides insurance-like protection that mitigates firm risk. Furthermore, using the difference-in-difference approach, the results show that firms with high CSR performance experience a significant decrease in the cost of debt subsequently to the Grenelle II act on CSR mandatory disclosures. The findings provide valuable implications for market participants. Managers may overinvest in CSR activities to reduce firm risk and benefit from a decreasing cost of debt while investors may want to invest in socially responsible firms to reduce their risk exposure. Our results are robust to alternative measures of risk, model specifications and endogeneity concerns.},

abstract = {In recent years, the concepts of human resource management (HRM) and corporate social responsibility (CSR) have gained significant focus across industries. The role and implications of CSR are vital for organizational success; similarly, HRM plays a vital role in understanding, developing, and implementing CSR strategies. Therefore, we claimed that the nexus of HRM and CSR is worthwhile to study and relevant in the current pandemic situation. Despite recent calls about the role of human resource management (HRM) and corporate social responsibility (CSR) in achieving sustainable performance, a few studies have investigated their role combinedly in the hospitality industry, especially in a cross-cultural context. Therefore, the present study addresses the current lack of comparative research about the impact of HRM and CSR on sustainable performance in the hospitality industry of Pakistan, the UK, and Italy and shows the mediating role of HRM in such a relationship. A quantitative methodology is applied to the survey of the employees from 354 Pakistani, 438 British, and 520 Italian hotels working in three-, four-, and five-star hotels. The results showed a positive correlation between CSR, HRM, and sustainable performance. Moreover, the results also indicated significant differences among the three countries analyzed concerning the mediating role of HRM in this relationship.},

abstract = {This study explores the ecological ambitions of banks by studying the coincidence of economic realities with environmental management strategies. We address this question by studying the environmental performance of US banks and its impact on their tail risk as US is not committed to carbon neutrality in COP 21. We proxy economic reality with tail risk of banks and employ a novel extreme value theory to measure this. We use Asset4 ESG data for environmental performance score and test our hypothesis with a sample of 256 US banks. The results indicate that the US banks are ecologically ambitious and their environmental strategies are likely to reduce their tail risk. This provides evidence that better environmental strategies do coincide with the economic realities. We test the consistency of our results by using alternate proxies for tail risk and find our results robust. Our results are also not driven by endogeneity concerns. Finally, our additional results show that the nature of relationship differs with corporate governance levels, CSR committee existence, institutional ownership presence and crisis period.},

abstract = {Gas hydrates have drawn the attention of many scientists because of their potential role in energy applications. By using some thermodynamic promoters, it is possible to form hydrates at reduced pressure and near ambient temperature, which are suitable formation conditions for most industries. In this study, a high pressure micro differential scanning calorimeter was used to measure the dissociation conditions of mixed cyclopentane (c-C5H10) + CO2 hydrates in the system composed of liquid water + liquid hydrocarbon + hydrate + vapour, in a pressure range of 0 to 4.3 MPa in a temperature range of 280 to 292 K. The analysis of the heat flow curve allowed the direct determination of the dissociation enthalpy of c-C5H10 + CO2 hydrates (e.g., ?H=462.5±1.5 kJ. kg-1 water at equilibrium pressure 0.25 MPa) and the average mass heat capacity of c-C5H10 + CO2 hydrates in a temperature range o 277.9-281.2 K (CpH = 1479.09 ± 137.43 J. K-1. kg-1 hydrate at 0.25 MPa).},

abstract = {Forecasting consumption in isolated areas represents a challenging problem typically resolved using deep learning or huge mathematical models with various dimensions. Those models require expertise in metering and algorithms and the equipment needs to be frequently maintained. In the context of the MAESHA H2020 project, most of the consumers and producers are isolated. Forecasting becomes more difficult due to the lack of external data and the significant impact of human behaviors on those small systems. The proposed approach is based on data sequencing, sequential mining, and pattern mining to infer the results into a Hidden Markov Model. It only needs the consumption and production curve as a time series and adapts itself to provide the forecast. Our method gives a better forecast than other prediction machines and deep-learning methods used in literature review.},

Using a sample of 1480 observations representing 185 banks from year 2010 to 2017, we find evidence of a negative and significant link between the risk governance mechanisms and risk-taking. This link is however more pronounced for privately-owned banks (POBs) than for state-owned banks (SOBs). Moreover, risk governance mechanisms positively influence the performance of POBs but have no impact on performance of SOBs. Overall, our results show the role of risk governance mechanisms in curbing excessive risk-taking and improving risk management effectiveness and performance of Asian banks, with some differences across the SOBs and POBs.},

abstract = {Purpose
This paper aims to determine the influence of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) excellence enablers on the financial, market and non-financial performance of the textile companies in Pakistan. Moreover, the mediating role of organizational learning culture is also tested in EFQM enablers and performance relationships.
Design/methodology/approach
Using a multi-respondent strategy, the data was collected from 254 textile firms registered with All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) using a highly structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling via AMOS v.22.
Findings
The results reveal that EFQM excellence enablers significantly influence financial, non-financial and market performance. Furthermore, organizational learning culture (OLC) significantly positively mediates the relationship between EFQM excellence enablers and business performance.
Research limitations/implications
This study enhances the literature of EFQM enablers and microfoundations of institutional theory in the textile industry of developing countries and proposes a way forward to the effective utilization of such enablers for higher performance.
Originality/value
This research is the first of its kind that empirically tests the microfoundations of institutional theory concerning EFQM, OLC and performance in the textile industry of Pakistan.},

abstract = {This paper investigates the effect of decision-makers' power on the stock price crash risk (SPCR). Using a sample ofFrench listed companies, the results show that SPCR increases with the power of decision-makers in widely held andmore concentrated ownership structures. This result suggests that for expropriation purposes, powerful managers andcontrolling shareholders conceal bad news for extended periods. Up to a threshold, bad news is released to investorsall at once, leading to a drop in the stock prices. We also find that analysts' coverage mitigates the effect of powerfulmanagers on SPCR in widely held firms. However, the relationship between the power of controlling shareholders andSPCR is less prevalent in companies with independent boards. These findings highlight the importance of efficientgovernance devices to curb opportunistic decision-makers and protect the interests of external shareholders. However, the effectiveness of these mechanisms depends on the identity of the decision-maker and the nature of agencyproblems.},
