abstract = {The study aims to empirically examine the effect of carbon-neutrality policies on the key resources needed for Industry 4.0 driven smart manufacturing and how these resources can provide a sustainable competitive advantage. The theoretical framework is integrated with the institutional theory and the resource-based view (RBV). The empirical method is used for collecting data through surveys and further covariance-based structural equation modeling is used to test the hypotheses. Findings indicate that carbon-neutral-based government policies have a stronger influence on tangible resources and human skills than intangible resources related to Industry 4.0 driven smart manufacturing. Second, carbon-neutral policy alignment with the firm's sustainability objectives plays a moderating effect on the relationship between carbon-neutral-based government policies and resources (tangible, intangible resources and human skills) for Industry 4.0 driven smart manufacturing. Lastly, the three resources (tangible, intangible resources and human skills) for Industry 4.0 driven smart manufacturing play a critical role in developing firms' carbon-neutral capability and further enhancing operational performance. Managerial implications include investment in advanced digital technologies, developing a strong mindset among employees and supply chain stakeholders, and designing training programs for enhancing smart manufacturing performance to develop carbon-neutrality capability. This study proposes a hybrid theory in the context of carbon neutrality by integrating institutional theory and RBV. This is the first study that examines the effect of carbon neutrality-based government policies on vital Industry 4.0-driven smart manufacturing resources and the indirect effect on carbon neutrality capability and operational performance.},

abstract = {Purpose - This study investigates how employees' experience of resource-depleting workplace loneliness
may steer them away from performance-enhancing work efforts as informed by their propensity to engage in
negative work rumination. It also addresses whether and how religiosity might serve as a buffer of this harmful
dynamic.
Design/methodology/approach - The hypotheses tests rely on three-round survey data collected among
employees who work in various organizations in Pakistan - a relevant country context, considering the
importance of people's religious faith for their professional functioning and its high-uncertainty avoidance and
collectivism, which likely make workplace loneliness a particularly upsetting experience.
Findings - An important channel through which a sense of being abandoned at work compromises job
performance is that employees cannot ?switch off? and stop thinking about work, even after hours. The role of
this explanatory mechanism is mitigated, however, when employees can draw from their religious beliefs.
Practical implications - For human resource (HR) managers, this study pinpoints a notable intrusion into
the personal realm, namely, repetitive thinking about work-related issues, through which perceptions of workrelated
loneliness translate into a reluctance to contribute to organizational effectiveness with productive work
activities. It also showcases how this translation can be subdued with personal resources that enable employees
to contain the hardships they have experienced.
Originality/value - This study helps unpack the connection between workplace loneliness and job
performance by detailing the unexplored roles of two important factors (negative work rumination and
religiosity) in this connection.

abstract = {Purpose
A paucity of studies has used a microfoundation lens to examine servitization processes in internationalized knowledge-intensive business service (KIBS) companies. The research aims to bridge this gap by considering knowledge sharing as a form of both codified knowledge and informal feedback knowledge; it also assesses whether the adoption of knowledge transfer and translation practices in a servitization process positively moderates the effect of knowledge transformation on knowledge sharing for internationalized KIBS companies.
Design/methodology/approach
By adopting a microfoundation lens, the research offers an empirical analysis to identify the relations between codified and tacit knowledge in servitization processes within internationalized KIBS companies. The study is based on 326 respondents from 30 KIBS companies. A multiple regression analysis was used for hypotheses testing.
Findings
The authors found significant relations among the use of electronic documents in the servitization process (formal codified knowledge), personal advice in servitization (informal feedback knowledge) and knowledge sharing in internationalized KIBS companies. Findings also support the indirect effect assumed in the hypothesis between knowledge transformation and knowledge sharing in internationalized KIBS companies, which is positively moderated by the adoption of cross-cultural knowledge practices in the servitization process.
Originality/value
To the best of the authors' knowledge, this research provides the first conceptual model of the use of a microfoundation lens to examine knowledge sharing in internationalized KIBS companies. The micro level features individual knowledge sharing in the servitization process, while the meso level focuses on knowledge transformation in KIBS companies and the adoption of knowledge transfer and translation practices in the servitization process.},

Preserving and promoting these cultural treasures require innovative approaches that transcend traditional boundaries. In this paper, we introduce "El-FnaVR", a groundbreaking virtual reality (VR) application that captures the vibrant essence of Marrakech's renowned UNESCO-listed Jemaa El-Fna square, Morocco. El-FnaVR immerses users in a detailed virtual replica of the square, replete with lifelike animated characters and spatial 3D audio that reproduces the locale's unique atmosphere faithfully capturing the location's distinctive ambiance. This paper delves into the comprehensive five-stage design and development process of the application, highlighting its unique features and demonstrating how it replicates the diverse activities and performances at the square. A user study, conducted with participants, reveals overwhelmingly positive responses, as participants laud the application's immersive nature, ease of use, and social appeal. The study's findings indicate that El-FnaVR successfully evokes the sensation of being present at the Jemaa El-Fna square, and offers valuable insights into the events and traditions that define it. This study uses a large global sample of firms affiliated with 10 sectors and 65 countries from 2002 to 2019 to examine how firm visibility, financial slack, and monitoring affected the relationship between CSR and firm value. We find that CSR performance and its three dimensions?that is, environmental, social, and governance?have positive effects on firm value. The results also show that under slack resources and strong corporate governance, the positive effect of CSR on firm value is strongly supported. These results suggest that managers should be aware that they can also attract shareholders' interests in the stock market while addressing stakeholders' concerns, especially when the firm has available financial slack and strong board monitoring. However, the positive association between CSR and firm value is only supported by the social pillar in the presence of high firm visibility.},

Relying on an online survey with 550 followers of Instagram brand accounts and a scenario-based experiment with 535 participants, this article shows that content ephemerality triggers followers' FoMO, which increases brand account engagement and brand account fatigue. Brand account engagement (fatigue), in turn, positively (negatively) relates to brand attitude and brand attachment. Further analyses reveal that the total effect of followers' FoMO on brand attachment is positive and significant, while the total effect of FoMO on brand attitude is not significant. Moreover, content ephemerality has a negative and significant total effect on brand attitude. A key implication of these findings is that it is not beneficial for brands to foster their Instagram account followers' FoMO by posting ephemeral content.},

abstract = {This paper proposes a new proportional-sharing approach for fixed cost allocation (FCA) among a group of decision-making units (DMUs) based on data envelopment analysis (DEA). We first prove the proportional invariance in DEA-based FCA. Then, we show that the ?all-efficient? assumption in existing models usually leads to the use of unrealistic weights in efficiency analysis. To address this issue, we relax this assumption and adopt a weight constraint approach. Further, we illustrate that some DMUs would always be allocated with zero fixed cost if only the goal of efficiency maximizing is considered. Therefore, some weight constraints are added, and a new bi-objective model is proposed to allocate the fixed cost among the DMUs in order to simultaneously maximize the efficiencies of the DMUs and make the allocation as close as possible to the one generated according to the DMUs' operation sizes. A mono-objective nonlinear program, which can be solved using dichotomy and a linear program solver, is used to obtain a non-dominated or Pareto-optimal trade-off solution for the bi-objective model. With the use of our approach, neither unrealistic weights nor zero fixed cost appears in the result. Finally, the proposed approach is applied to a numerical example and a commercial bank case study.},

Furthermore, this study explores how perceived betrayal moderates the relationship between cause-brand fit and attitude toward a brand.
Design/methodology/approach - A quantitative research design was adopted. Data collection was performed through snowball sampling of French and Turkish participants (N = 455). The collected data were then analyzed using the PROCESS macro for SPSS.
Findings - The results reveal a significant effect of cause familiarity on attitude toward the brand, wherein one's attitude toward fit in a cause-brand alliance serves as a mediator in this relationship. The results also indicate that perceived betrayal moderates the relationship between cause-brand fit and attitude toward a brand. However, when it comes to facing a global pandemic, culture has no significant effect on consumers' perceptions and attitudes toward cause-brand alliances.
Originality/value - This research investigates the enhancement of attitudes toward a brand through an alliance with a familiar cause and explains this relationship via attitudes toward fit in such an alliance. Moreover, it provides novel insights into perceived betrayal as a variable that can lead to a more pronounced relationship between attitude toward fit and attitude toward a brand.},

abstract = {Using a novel database on countries exposed to coastal risks (CR), this paper estimates an augmented neoclassical growth model that encompasses eight other new growth models. To account for uncertainty related to the number of models and choice of growth determinant proxies, we use a Bayesian averaging of classical estimates (BACE) approach. A preliminary examination of the data reveals that a country that faces coastal risks is likely to be a former British colony characterized by a common law legal framework, a parliamentary political system, a high degree of international trade openness, little language and ethnic fractionalization, a low level of public sector corruption, and a high rate of fertility. The BACE-based model selection procedure shows that, in CR countries, the growth determinant proxies typically used in the neoclassical, macroeconomic policy, natural resources, and institutions theories are significantly correlated with growth. These results suggest two implications related to these countries' coastal ecosystems. First, because they are heavily dependent on natural resources and have high fertility rates, these countries might seek short-term economic gains at the expense of deterioration in their ecosystems. Second, these countries' good institutions and low levels of ethnic division might be conducive to sustainable management of these ecosystems.},

In the literature, economic crises have been found to increase the risk of infectious disease outbreaks. Presumably, sanctions can increase the risk of infectious disease spreads, indirectly. However, non-economic factors can fuel the adverse impact of sanctions, including political consequences of sanctions and civil war. We performed a systematic literature review of articles in Embase, MEDLINE, Scopus, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, and the grey literature to assess empirically the impact of economic sanctions on the spread of infectious diseases within and beyond the borders of sanctioned countries. Our review did not identify any study meeting our inclusion criteria. Most of the studies did not control for major socio-political events, particularly armed conflicts in the sanctioned countries. This discovery underscores a notable gap in the examination of the impact of economic sanctions on the propagation of infectious diseases, presenting a threat to global health. Using the social-ecological model, we hypothesize how the economic crisis resulting from economic sanctions affects determinants of health, increases the risk of the spread of infectious diseases and hinders the response capacity of health systems.},

In this review, we systematically identify and synthesize theoretical and empirical research on foreign divestment from emerging markets based on 60 articles in reputed academic journals. We develop a conceptual framework that integrates the antecedents, decisions, moderating mechanisms, and outcomes of foreign divestment in emerging markets. While firm-level antecedents of foreign divestment are well-researched, external antecedents, decisions, moderating mechanisms, and outcomes are understudied. Additionally, we highlight that foreign divestment from emerging markets has positive and negative consequences for the firm and the host country. Drawing insights from our review, we delve into prospective research agendas, forging connections between contemporary research themes, divestment, and emerging markets. We propose that a multi-level approach to studying the antecedents and outcomes of foreign divestment will enhance our understanding of international business dynamics within an increasingly volatile global environment.},

This paper aims to address the complexity of today's PDPs by considering various quality aspects including safety, environment, and the entire lifecycle, along with diverse dynamic capabilities such as digital agility and circular economy. The authors employed a semantic web methodology and created an ontology-based knowledge model. The proposed ontology uses Design for X techniques, circular economy, digital agility, and the semantic web under the PDP perspective to increase performance and cooperation between designers and the project team. To validate the ontology, measures for domain ontology evaluation have been used. The paper presents a detailed guide for ontology engineering and evaluation for collaborative smart PDP, which incorporates digital agility as a critical dynamic capability. The proposed ontology can help boost PDP performance and increase customer satisfaction.},

This study delves into the nuanced impact of the orientation of deposited layers on the mechanical properties of 3D printed Polylactic Acid (PLA) parts. Experimental testing, coupled with predictive modeling using Tsai-Hill and Tsai-Wu criteria, forms the crux of our investigation. The predicted ultimate strength from both criteria exhibits commendable agreement with the 3D printed specimens across a spectrum of orientation angles. Concurrently, Finite Element Simulations are meticulously executed to forecast mechanical behavior, taking into account the observed elasticity and plasticity in various orientations. Our observations reveal a significant augmentation in Young's modulus and ductility/elongation?40% and 70%, respectively?when transitioning from ? = 0° to ? = 90°. Furthermore, the ultimate strength experiences a notable increase, leading to varied failure modes contingent upon ?. These findings underscore the pivotal role played by the orientation of printed layers in shaping the anisotropic behavior of 3D printed PLA parts, thereby integrating key process variables for optimization objectives. This study contributes valuable insights for professionals in the engineering, design, and manufacturing domains who seek to harness the advantages of 3D printing technology while ensuring that the mechanical integrity of 3D printed parts aligns with their functional requisites. It emphasizes the critical consideration of orientation as a design parameter in the pursuit of optimization objectives.},

abstract = {Purpose
In this paper, we investigate the strategies and approaches adopted by service organizations to navigate a humanitarian crisis and the lessons learnt from the crisis to face a future one. Understanding the effect of a crisis triggered by health pandemic hazards on services delivery and management, organizational strategies for survival and recovery, and the recovery post-crisis, in terms of building organizational and ecosystem resilience, is the focus of this paper.
Design/Methodology/Approach
Using a qualitative research design which closely approximates the theory-in-use (TIU) approach (Zeithaml et al. 2020), we interview 47 elite informants from service organizations that were particularly severely impacted by the crisis. We follow Corbin and Strauss's (2014) procedure for analysis of the interviews (i.e., open, axial and selective coding) and Saldaña (2013) for thematic analysis.
Findings
Drawing on Transformative Service Research (TSR) and dynamic capabilities perspective, we develop an empirical framework of crisis management which focuses on dynamic co-creation of service ecosystem well-being and resilience. Service organization responses included 1) retrenchment and balancing supply and demand, 2) service re-design and provision, 3) imposed service innovations, 4) digital servitization and 5) rethinking business models. Aiding with the process of crisis management in the face of uncertainty are dynamic capabilities, including strategic flexibility, market orientation, customer centricity, transformational leadership, and technological/digital capabilities.
Originality/Value/Contribution
The study provides a novel applied framework which sheds light on how organizations that co-created value with other firms, suppliers, customers, stakeholders (the focus of B2B marketing) fundamentally transformed their services to fulfill human and ecosystem actors' needs, by placing well-being right at the center of their crisis management strategies. We combine the TSR lens on service ecosystem well-being and resilience with the dynamic capabilities perspective to explore how service organizations managed the COVID-19 crisis and what lessons can be learnt to face any future crisis. We argue that well-being and resilience are dependent on a service co-creation process that involves multiple ecosystem stakeholders at the individual, organizational, community and societal levels. We have built on Anderson's et al. (2013) and Chen et al. (2020) work to explore empirically how well-being can be co-created in time of crisis. The process of value co-creation, through the responses identified in our paper (e.g., digital servitization and imposed innovations), were adopted to provide physical, health, financial and social safety to the service ecosystem actors (primarily customers, employees, and managers) during the pandemic.
Practical implications
The findings contribute to the service marketing practice by identifying the managerial strategies that blend TSR and dynamic capabilities. The study provides an applied framework which sheds light on how organizations fundamentally transform their services to fulfill human and ecosystem actors' needs, by placing well-being right at the center of their crisis management strategies. Well-being became a function of fulfilling the most basic human needs (belonging, safety, security and hygiene) of customers, employees, managers and communities. Our research helps managers and decision-makers to identify the right strategies and capabilities needed to manage a crisis. Critically, managers should stress building the skills of market orientation, digitalization and strategic flexibility to manage uncertainty. Service organizations require flexible and integrative decision-makers who elevate service innovation to a core strategic issue to come out from a crisis.},

This research paper aims to explore how social intrapreneurs use serious games to generate social innovation. In particular, the study depicts the coproduction process between caregivers acting as intrapreneurs, patients and other stakeholders, and unveils the contributions of serious games and their key features in producing social innovation within healthcare facilities.
Design/methodology/approach
Through an original case study, the article analyzes a social innovation initiated by caregivers in the French care eco-system. Primary and secondary data were used to observe and examine the successful implementation of a serious game. Specifically, caregivers in hospital designed a game that helps children overcome the stress and anxiety inherent to their hospital journey.
Findings
Results unveil the role of social innovations as catalyst of social intrapreneurship and the coproduction of services. In the healthcare setting, serious games both participate in improving the stay of child in hospitals, and in facilitating the working conditions of caregivers.
Originality/value
This article brings together the theoretical background of social intrapreneurship, social innovation and serious games. The successful implementation of social innovation depends on the intrinsic features of social intrapreneurs, coupled with those pertaining to serious games. The positive outcome of social innovation benefits both internal and external stakeholders. Such innovation improves the end users' experience, as the latter participate in the coproduction of their own care.},

examined consumer perceptions of the convenience of the last-mile delivery of goods by cargo bike (CB).
Therefore, this study aims to identify the dimensions of HD convenience and to develop a reliable and valid
measurement tool, namely the Home-Delivery Convenience via Cargo Bike (HDCCB) scale.
Design/methodology/approach - The methodology of this scale development study is premised on a
review of the existing literature, which identifies differences in consumer perceptions of the convenience of
services. The authors conducted semi-structured interviews with 10 online consumers and validated the
content with 3 experts on marketing in the retail and services sectors in order to develop the items for the scale.
Thereafter, the authors identified the main dimensions through an exploratory factor analysis that the authors
applied to an online survey with 116 respondents. Finally, the scale was validated through a confirmatory
factor analysis of an online survey with 300 respondents.
Findings - Following the original work of Brown (1990), the authors define consumer perceptions of HD
convenience as a multidimensional construct and measure each facet of its four dimensions, which are time, use,
execution and acquisition. E-retailers and last-mile logistics providers could use the authors' proposed
measurement tool to assess consumer perceptions of the convenience of HD. That assessment could generate a
competitive advantage.

perceptions of the convenience of HD by CB in last-mile logistics. This study also develops a multidimensional
measure that is based on an empirical study.},

This study aims to investigate the relationship between employees' exposure to supervisor incivility and their engagement in insubordinate behavior, by detailing a mediating role of ruminations about interpersonal offenses and a moderating role of supervisor task conflict.
Design/methodology/approach
The research hypotheses were assessed with three rounds of data, obtained from employees and their peers, working for firms in various industries.
Findings
An important reason that employees' sense that their supervisor treats them disrespectfully escalates into defiance of supervisor authority is that the employees cannot stop thinking about how they have been wronged. The mediating role of such ruminations is particularly prominent when employees' viewpoints clash with those of their supervisor.
Practical implications
A critical danger exists for employees who are annoyed with a rude supervisor: They ponder their negative treatment, which prompts them to disobey, a response that likely diminishes the chances that supervisors might change their behaviors. This detrimental process is particularly salient when employee-supervisor interactions are marked by unpleasant task-related fights.

Nevertheless, the causality of such a correlation among the middle-aged and older populations in developing countries awaits further investigations. This study aims to understand how a specific natural ecosystem change, namely the establishment of ecological reserves, improves the physical and mental health of middle-aged and older residents in China. Two batches of national key eco-function zones (NKEFZs) in 2011 and 2016 are selected as a quasi-experiment; and a total of 128,755 middle-aged and older residents from a combined data set from the China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) and China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Studies (CHARLS) from 2010 to 2020. A difference-in-differences method was used to identify the causal effects of the natural ecosystem improvement on human health outcomes. The results indicate significant and sustained improvements in the physical health of local middle-aged and elderly residents following the implementation of the NKEFZs policy. Notably, ecological reserves with a water conservation function and those in Karst area have the most salient effects on physical health. Furthermore, this study shows that the creation of ecological reserves improves the mental health of middle-aged and older residents, with the effect varying based on changes in physical health. abstract = {Research Summary: This paper examines how rewardbased crowdfunding backers respond to risk disclosures.
Combining theoretical frameworks from financial accounting with the risk perception literature, we adopt an
abductive research approach to explore various nuances
that influence backers' tolerance for risk information. In
addition to identifying the general dynamics in backers' risk
interpretation, we highlight the complexities introduced by
differences in the disclosure's semantic content, expressed
feelings, and the discloser's background attributes. Relying
on a hierarchical Bayesian mixture model, we first identify a
positive curvilinear relationship between risk information
quantity and crowdfunding success. We then demonstrate
the influences of what is disclosed, how it is disclosed, and
who discloses it, while emphasizing the context-bound specificities of individual project types.
Managerial Summary: Our study aids entrepreneurs to
effectively communicate risks in reward-based
crowdfunding campaigns. We consistently find that entrepreneurs provided substantially less risk information than
the optimum amount of information, emphasizing the need
for more extensive disclosures. On what to disclose, backers
favored information on risks that are consequential to them
personally and not those that affect the entrepreneur's project. On how to disclose, expressed feelings had little influence on how much risk information backers preferred.

abstract = {Virtual clothes consumption is part of the digital virtual consumption practices of the global NFT phenomenon and the global digital fashion trend. While cutting-edge technologies shape customer experience and behavior, research examining how consumers desire, own, and experience these technologies in general, and virtual objects in particular, remains scarce. Adopting the uses and gratifications (U&Gs) theory and building on research related to brand roles and category, the present research aims to unveil the psychological determinants of purchasing NFTs-virtual clothes. A mixed-method, two-stage approach was adopted. First, a qualitative study and a pilot study aimed to capture and understand what motivates people to buy NFTs-virtual clothes and identify contextualized U&Gs. Second, two original confirmatory studies verified the U&Gs of purchasing virtual clothes and investigated how they differ based on brand category (luxury vs. non-luxury). The results show that enjoyment, social interactivity, and curiosity are the main predictors of NFTs-virtual clothes purchases. Consumers mainly seek hedonic, social, and technological gratifications as part of the digital fashion consumption trend. Brand managers must recognize virtual clothing gratifications for effective virtual world positioning. Products should encourage networking, community, and user interaction. Demographics and virtual experience should be considered to understand NFT-virtual clothes motivations.},

abstract = {Mobile augmented reality (MAR) has gained significant attention in the tourism sector as a way to enhance the visitor experience. The rapid advancements in mobile computing and sensor technologies have facilitated the widespread use of geospatial augmented reality (AR) applications by tourists when exploring popular destinations. To analyze the impact of AR technology on the tourism experience, we developed the FEZAR mobile application. This application serves as the focal point of our study, allowing us to evaluate user performance using a comparative experimental approach. To ensure the usability of the FEZAR application, professionals with expertise in mobile technologies, including AR, performed rigorous testing and evaluation of the application. Through their evaluations, significant usability issues were identified and resolved, resulting in the application being well-received by the experts. Subsequently, a comparative field study was conducted in Fez's old medina, a crowded UNESCO heritage site, involving users (N = 40) who were randomly assigned to experimental and control groups in equal distribution. The results of the study revealed that the proposed AR model had a significant positive impact on user visits. Compared to other forms of media, AR offers more informative and enjoyable experiences. Additionally, it effectively helps locate monuments in crowded tourism settings. The findings of this research make a valuable contribution to the ongoing discussion regarding the impact of evaluating MAR user interfaces on increasing visitor engagement with tourist destinations.},

Such innovation improves the end users' experience, as the latter participate in the coproduction of their own care.},

abstract = {Fault analysis (FA) is the process of collecting and analyzing data to determine the cause of a failure. It plays an important role in ensuring the quality in manufacturing process. Traditional FA techniques are time-consuming and labor-intensive, relying
heavily on human expertise and the availability of failure inspection equipment. In semiconductor industry, a large amount of FA reports are generated by experts to record the fault descriptions, fault analysis path and fault root causes. With the development of Artificial Intelligence, it is possible to automate the industrial FA process while extracting expert knowledge from the vast FA report data. The goal of this research is to develop a complete expert knowledge extraction pipeline for FA in semiconductor industry based on advanced Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. Our research aims at automatically predicting the fault root cause based on the fault descriptions. First, the text data from the FA reports are transformed into numerical data using Sentence Transformer embedding. The numerical data are converted into latent spaces using Generalized-Controllable Variational AutoEncoder. Then, the latent spaces are classified by Gaussian Mixture Model. Finally, Association Rules are applied to establish the relationship between the labels in the latent space of the fault descriptions and that of the fault root cause. The proposed algorithm has been evaluated with real data of semiconductor industry collected
over three years. The average correctness of the predicted label achieves 97.8%. The method can effectively reduce the time of failure identification and the cost during the inspection stage.},

Not many studies are there which deal with the impact of BDA towards issues like forecasting, decision-making, as well as performance of the firms simultaneously. So, there exists a gap in the research. In such a background, this study aims at examining the impacts of BDA on the process of decision-making, forecasting, as well as firm performance. Using resource-based view (RBV) as well as dynamic capability view (DCV) and related research studies, a research model was proposed conceptually. This conceptual model was validated taking help of PLS-SEM approach considering 366 respondents from Indian firms. This study has highlighted that smart decision making and accurate forecasting process can be achieved by using BDA. This research has demonstrated that there is a considerable influence of adoption of BDA on decision making process, forecasting process, as well as overall firm performance. However, the present study suffers from the fact that the study results depend on the cross-sectional data which could invite defects of causality and endogeneity bias. The present research work also found that there is no impact of different control variables on the firm's performance.},

abstract = {Intraoral scanners (IOS) are essential tools in dental prosthodontics, enabling efficient digitization of dental arches for CAD-CAM workflows. The Primescan IOS (Dentsply Sirona) can be fitted with three scanning sleeves, based on the level of hygiene imposed by the clinical situation and health regulations: a standard sleeve (SS), an autoclavable sleeve (AS), and a disposable sleeve (DS). Most studies evaluating accuracy use local best-fit algorithms to superimpose a reference scan and a test scan, providing relative accuracy. This study proposes an alternative evaluation method based on metrological principles and aims to compare the quality of scans taken with the three types of sleeves. An 8 mm aluminum oxide sphere was scanned 24 times using each sleeve. Mesh analysis was conducted, and measures of trueness, precision, and digitizing noise were calculated. Significant differences in trueness were identified between AS-DS (p < 0.001) as well as AS-SS (p < 0.001), while no significant differences were found between the sleeves for precision (p = 0.623). Significant differences in digitizing noise were also identified between DS-AS (p < 0.001), DS-SS (p = 0.001), and SS-AS (p = 0.001). This study tested the scanning quality of an IOS fitted with different sleeves using absolute measures as opposed to relative measures, and though statistically significant differences were found, within the experimental conditions, the errors appear to be within clinically accepted limits.},

Our investigations focus on the two main questions: measuring the advantage of the insider's additional information and stating a closed form for her hedging strategy. Our approach is based on the results of enlargement of filtration in a discrete-time setting stated by Blanchet-Scalliet and Jeanblanc (in: From probability to finance, Springer, Berlin, 2020) and on a stochastic analysis for marked binomial processes developed in the companion paper (Halconruy in Electron J Probab 27:1-39, 2022). This result is remarkably robust after conducting a difference-in-differences analysis that exploits brokerage closures and mergers as an exogenous decrease in analyst coverage, as well as using an instrumental variable approach. The positive influence of analyst coverage on corporate environmental disclosure is particularly evident for firms that cause high environmental damage, firms with low information asymmetry and those followed by analysts with superior experience, accuracy and reputation. To test the theoretical model developed in this study, data are collected from a developed country (Australia) and a developing country (South Africa) using the survey method. The study is important from two perspectives: (a) it is one of the first to analyze the impact of institutional pressures on building CCA capability, and (b) it reveals that marketing capability functions as a partial mediator and aids CCA capability in improving B2B firm performance. The unique contribution of this study is its emphasis on identifying the key elements required for exceptional B2B firm performance amid climate change. The study provides insights into the specific aspects that drive success in this setting by examining institutional pressures and B2B firms' CCA capability, marketing capability, and performance. The study contributes by employing two organizational theories (i.e., institutional theory and the dynamic capability view) to explain the underlying mechanisms underpinning improved B2B business performance amid climate change.},

They are high-pressure coefficient turbomachines compacted diametrically, and thus, the complex interactions of these fans require thorough evaluation. Their innovation has opened up new directions in turbomachinery, and both academic research and industry have seen numerous efforts to develop these types of fans. Despite extensive work, optimizing and improving their performance remains a challenge. Enhancing their efficiency necessitates improvements in structural characteristics, aerodynamic features, and acoustic properties. In this review, we aim to demonstrate the essential aspects of CFFs by introducing their fundamentals and primary characteristics. Furthermore, we delve into a discussion on the acoustic performance of these fans. We also summarize the flow characteristics and different flow-field patterns in CFFs and their impact on aeroacoustic behavior. positions on excess cash holdings.
Design/methodology/approach - The authors adopt the quantile regression approach to test the
relation between gender diversity and excess cash holding. The sample consists of 1,235 firm-year
observations for the period 2005-2017.
Findings - The authors find that board gender diversity negatively influences the level of excess cash.
This result suggests that women appointed in the boardroom are effective in monitoring managerial
actions, including financing policies. The results also show that by forcing companies to have a quota of
women on their boards, the presence of women no longer has a negative impact on excess cash
holdings. However, when women stand at the chief executive officer or chief financial officer position,
they tend to accumulate cash for precautionary motives. These results suggest that women behave
differently regarding excess cash holding as monitors compared to their role as decision-makers.
Practical implications - The results may be of interest to legislators who may decide to break the glass
ceiling, preventing women from gaining greater access to senior management positions. This is in line
with the recommendations of the AFEP-MEDEF Governance Code of 2020, which strongly recommends the recruitment of women to senior management positions. The results are also important to investors,
who might be likely to trust companies in which women hold positions on boards of directors which may increase firm value. The results may also have a social impact. Indeed, the role of women in society may
be enhanced if such initiatives are taken to increase their representation on leadership positions and in
society in general.
Social implications - The results may also have a social impact. Indeed, the role of women in society

appointing women on boards (enabling/coercive and market-based) can have on the relation between gender diversity and excess cash holdings},

This paper aims to manage the word gap in information retrieval (IR) especially for long documents belonging to specific domains. In fact, with the continuous growth of text data that modern IR systems have to manage, existing solutions are needed to efficiently find the best set of documents for a given request. The words used to describe a query can differ from those used in related documents. Despite meaning closeness, nonoverlapping words are challenging for IR systems. Based on a sample of French listed companies, we find that long-term (short-term) institutional investors are associated with higher (lower) stock price synchronicity. The results also show that the negative (positive) effect of long-term (short-term) institutional investors is more (less) accentuated for highly competitive markets and when the firm is followed by a high number of financial analysts. An additional analysis shows that the synchronicity reduction effect does not vary during the financial crisis. Overall, these findings suggest that unlike their short-term counterparts, long term investors reduce asymmetric information and help disseminate firm-specific information into stock prices when such information is less accessible to outside shareholders.},

abstract = {The last decade witnessed a wide expansion of a fossil fuel divestment movement. Fossil fuel free (FFF) financial products?which are portfolios that exclude companies involved in the production of oil, gas, and coal?have proliferated, initiating a debate on their financial and ecological implications for economic agents. This paper examines whether and the extent to which these financial products are immune to fluctuations in the price of fossil fuels. To do so, we empirically assess the daily effects of changes in oil, gas, and coal prices on returns on fossil fuel free indices provided by S&P. While we find no evidence that the FFF indices underperforms their conventional counterparts on average, the results from our model further show that the returns on FFF portfolios have more exposure to movements in fossil fuel prices than those on mainstream portfolios. The insights from our estimations have important implications for investors and other economic agents.},

abstract = {Even though the COVID-19 pandemic has represented an intense period of stress and anxiety for individuals, it has also been an opportunity for firms to engage in cause-related marketing initiatives as a means of providing support and helping them cope with this global pandemic. This study analyzes the influence of cause-brand fit and cause-brand alliance on customer-based legitimacy and reputation. This study also examines the mediating and moderating roles of trust and betrayal, respectively. Data were collected from 455 participants during the first wave of the pandemic, especially during the first lockdown. The results contribute to unveiling the economic and societal outcomes of cause-related marketing. The findings also enrich the antecedents of the legitimacy and reputation conferred by customers.},

abstract = {We study the homogenization limit of the renewal equation with heterogeneous external con- straints by means of the two-scale convergence theory. We prove that the homogenized limit satisfies an equation involving non-local terms, which are the consequence of the oscillations in the birth and death terms. We have moreover shown that the numerical approximation of the homogenized equation via the two-scale limit gives an alternative way for the numerical study of the solution of the limiting problem.},
